wait wait, what happened in the last episode (please don't make me watch it!) and what dumbshit did Marc Giggletitty say this time?
He made a snarky comment about anticipating that shippers would credit for the decline in ratings last night when it’d obviously be Game 7. It was honestly not even close to the most asshole-ish thing the dude’s said. He’s also right that it would happen and that no one can definitely say what made the ratings decline. Time? The debates/Baseball? Other shows on at the same time? Olicity’s break up? Laurel’s death? Thea not being Speedy? The new team being too hard to connect with for some? The bratva flashbacks? etc. We can each know individually why we stopped watching something but it’s impossible to say which factor is the biggest for the ratings decline. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a super dumb ass PR move. Cause it was. YMMV.
