Billy looks at her with an expression that shows that he is not amused by the sweater his daughter gifted him and then promptly guilt tripped him into wearing. He does not even celebrate Christmas like the mortals do. He has seen it change over the five hundred years he has walked this Earth. He only bought into the typical modern traditions of it when Sam was younger so she would at least have a good time around this holiday season. She was only part vampire after all and even if her mother was not entirely human herself, her mother still carried on with human traditions that she was used to. Billy continued on with this even after Christina left. In fact, raising Sam became his entire priority.

"Of course, you do. I'm not surprised at all."

He cross his arms over his chest, leaning back in his chair.

Alright, now he knew he shouldn't have knocked on the lid of her coffin as many times, but in what other way would he have been able to wake her up? he did try calling out her name a couple of times, but that had gotten him no response (unless she had been trying to ignore him since then). "I need to tell you something." He whispered in order to not wake up Laszlo. "I had this very scary and very emotional nightmare and I can't go back to sleep now."

He was quick to yell back at her without even taking into consideration her request, and why should he? for how many nights, for how many years had he been pretty much forced to listen to hers and Laszlo's music?
