Alex looked up at the voice, seeing her friend standing there. She grinned, “Its going to take a lot more than that to kill me,” she stated simply, despite the pain she was feeling. That fight had been brutal.. brutal enough she was forced to use her sword as a makeshift cane, of sorts, to help her walk. “I’m glad you are safe.. that was.. unexpected..”
