The one person who wouldn't normally show up at the Gambler's door had shown up. Why? Well... there was a good reason, really.

With his glasses smashed by Hiyoko, the fat man had been wandering for hours-- unable to really see where he was going. It was... by pure chance that he ended up at Celes' apartment. And good lord, did he look like a wreck.
He was no longer bleeding (but he did have some blood on him), but he looked even worse than after Hiyoko had dealt with him. ... After all, how easy do you think it is for someone who can't see to run in to some thugs? Here's the answer-- it's amazingly easy. It's incredible he's still alive, really! But... here he is, barely able to stand, looming in front of Celes' door.
