It's funny that you said that Dutch sounds softer than German, because all the Germans I know say that Dutch sounds harsher than German :D Apparently your perception of other languages really does depend on your first language! This makes me wanna do research on that topic... yaay linguistics xDD

Really? That's interesting. Most Dutch and Germans I know say that Dutch is softer. But it probably depends on the dialects. I know that my Dutch is a bit harsher than the Dutch from people in the south. Same goes for Germany I guess. 

I personally like the sound of Austrian German. (Every time I say that Germans tend to laugh in my face, you guys don't really like austrain german)

But yeah, languages are so interesting. I'm really shit in learning them, but they're really interesting.
