This is an essay so i would tell you to avoid “on” because this is really informal. Use “nous” and then for the rest use “notre/nos”. Both are correct but since this is an essay don’t use “on/sa/son” in that context.
is it really informal? because my teacher mentioned that it could mean “one”.. and like for translations like:
“You have to be careful about what you eat when you are young.”
you can either say:
Il faut faire attention à ce qu’on mange quand on est jeune.
On doit faire attention à ce qu’on mange....
Vous devez faire attention...
Il faut faire attention à ce que vous mangez..
Do you use “on” for like legal texts as well? like since it means “one” as well? or third person? cause in english, “one” is very formal and rather obsolete actually.
Also.. the exam board says we can use “on” but i do see why “nous” seems more formal. but it isnt really a university thesis or essay. c’est une dissertation discursive.

My sister gnash her teeth when she sleep and it's super annoying, i hope you sleep alone because it's horrible.
but it is unintentional. we dont intend to do it.. i mean thinking about it, i wouldnt cause that hurts my teeth, i dont even know why this happened
please tell your parents to bring your sister to the dentist. she might get TMJ or a locked jaw which is a serious medical condition on the jaw if she doesnt wear a teeth guard asap. the remedy is to wear a bionator or a teeth guard to prevent it from happening.
