Experience you’ll never forgetmmm the first thing that comes to mind rn is the only car crash i’ve ever been in bc it happened on new years eve and i was just talking abt it yday. my best friend and i were leaving our neighborhood senior year of high school so, yikes, that was 2009, and we were at the stop sign at the edge of our neighborhood, waiting to turn out, only it was snowing and it was icy and this car went to turn into our street at a right angle going 40 in the ice and snow and i had one of those “~record scratch~ i bet you wonder how i got myself into this” moments and had long enough to say “oh, fuck” before our car got hit. neither of us were seriously injured, luckily, but the image of a car skidding toward us and having nowhere to go is still burned in my brain
