Selena Quintanilla, Queen of Tejano 🌹✨
R.I.P to my biggest inspiration. Today marks 18 years since you haven't been with us. Even though you died before I was born, I grew up surrounded by your music and memory. Whenever I'm sad your music makes everything better. You've helped me get through so many tough situations. Your kindness and loving soul touched the hearts of millions. You will always be in my heart, as well as millions of others. You taught me that if I have a dream, to never let anyone take it away and that the impossible is always possible. You showed me that kindness over powers any amount of wealth or beauty. You were murdered performing an act of kindness. God has a special place in heaven for angels like you. Even though your loss is a tragedy many of us still struggle to grasp and overcome, instead is mourning I view your passing in a different light. I thank God for letting you live on this Earth for 23 years to show me to never stop smiling, and always follow your heart. You will always be in my heart, as well as millions of others. You taught me that if I have a dream, to never let anyone take it away and that the impossible is always possible. Thank you Selena. You will always be in my heart, as well as millions of others. Your memory will live on forever. "She was like a meteor in the night sky, so short a life, but what a light so bright." Selena Quintanilla-Peréz April 16, 971- March 31, 1995
