can i just say that i absolutely love all your Regulus content ant that it makes me ridiculously happy to see so much of it on my dash (and simultaneously it makes me sad because everything canon about him is just tragic and he deserved so much better, but still) so thank you

omg thank you so much, I appreciate it. I love that my blog can be some sort of Regulus haven for Regulus fans.

But yes!!! Definitely!!! Canon Regulus was done so dirty! :( That’s why it’s on us to keep his memory alive, and also revive him a couple 100 times.

Works on the left, bookmarks on the right! This feels very on brand for me. I like my fluff and romance and I certainly like my time travel and alternate timelines. It looks like I read more angst than I write it and my bookmarks are slightly sexier than my works. I’m surprised crack/humor isn’t higher in my works, but I think this might be because I’m never sure if a fic is humorous enough to tag humor, so I tend to leave it off.

9. Who is your favourite character to write?

Oh goodness. This is so tough but given that Skinny Love is entirely from Tonks’s POV, I’m going to say that for this fic, my favourite character to write has been her. (Because I can’t stop myself, I will say that for Truth or Badger, which uses different POVs, I adore writing both Tonks and Snape.)

26. What is the worst writing advice in your opinion?

How long have you got? The two that I’ll pin down just now are: you must write every day, and don’t use adverbs. In short: the worst writing advice is usually anything involving rules about writing. You don’t need to write every day to be a writer. You really don’t. Also: use all the adverbs. Break all the grammar rules. Do whatever you want with the words on the page. Getting tied up in things like adverbs is one of the ways a story gets lost, the flow falters, and the momentum wobbles. Write what you mean, and know that editing and revision are there for a reason.
