on the topic of queen i think she is a big fan of when swatch finishes chopping melons for her and they're all covered in melon viscera and sweating and such. very classic heartthrob look and she's clapping and cheering for it every time. i think she's the sort of person who does get a little swoon-y over swatch's butlerisms in the traditional sense but she's just as often the sort of person who processes their swoon-y feelings by jumping up and down and hollering and banging on the table with their fist and AWOOGA-ing and such.

The new chapters were so good I haven't even fully moved from the 'playing phase' to the 'sketching phase' yet.

Sorry for drawing two of the same characters I always do, but Swatch said three-ish new lines, was name dropped a whole three times by other characters, AND got cat ears, so I must celebrate the only way I know how.

anyways. queen and swatch late at night in castle town on the weird route when the café's need for swatch's attention has tapered off and queen can go see one of the few people she's still got around. sitting on the counter with swatch kneeled before her. her hands in their hair. on their chin. asking them to tell her that they'll still be here tomorrow. asking for their company. holding their head in her hands just to keep warm with the simmering heat of their ever-devoted expression. and so on.

A wise prophet (@tvlandofficiall) once said that the Swatchqueen dynamic would be like Gomez and Morticia Addams...
