↪ honest mistake
@queenvitch
It's his first day as a teacher and Rod ( bless his innocent heart ) stayed up all night preparing for his class. Like a nervous virgin on his first date, he made sure everything was perfect. He dressed himself professionally, clothes ironed, a faint perfume on... His hair may never be cured from it’s natural messy style, but the short spikes didn’t look too shabby. He pinched his cheeks, that have honestly gained more fat since the last time he checked, and psyched himself up for the day.
“You can do this!” His voice was determined and full of energy even with the lack of sleep. With willpower alone, he said good bye to the animals he kept in his humble apartment and headed out to Harvest Academy.
Not wanting to be tardy, he took his breakfast with him to his classroom and planned to eat there. Science buildings were always so creepy... in Rod’s high school, there were even rumors of their classrooms being haunted, especially in the science building. Rumors of moving skeletons and odd sightings spread like wildfire. Rod did not dare look around as he walked to his classroom. In fact, he was such in a hurry, he went pass the Biology room and entered the Chemistry room instead.
To him, all science classrooms were the same. He didn’t question the presence of equipment in the classroom and believed it was just because Harvest Academy is so prestigious, they’re fully equipped in all classrooms.
He opened the lights of the classroom and sat down at his desk, a hopeful look on his face as always. Starting today, he’ll be working as an instructor to all the kids that walk in this classroom. It’s impossible to not sense how excited he was for this new opportunity, even if his heart still yearned to be in an animal clinic rather than a school.
He opened his bag, removing the containers full of a variety, fruits and multiple sandwiches he prepared that morning. He made himself ham & cheese sandwiches, an entire container of scrambled eggs, and for dessert, sliced up fruits that made for a colorful salad. Before any of the students arrive, he started eating, still oblivious to the fact that he made a mistake in classrooms.
