yeah, supper is different from dinner. Supper is usually a small meal - I often have either a breakfast cereal or warm milk - immediately before bed, while dinner is a full meal eaten at about dusk (5 - 8 pm)

huh. i was always taught it’s pretty much the same as dinner. maybe it’s regional? i mean reading through wikipedia it also gives me like 10 different explanations for supper. interesting.

Is "supper" not what you're looking for? It means evening meal. I do, however, agree, that it is the best meal of the day

i’m not sure??? isn’t it pretty much the same as dinner?? or that’s what i always thought. because the finnish ‘iltapala’ is kind of like breakfast, but in the evening. you know, you eat something small like bread, fruit, cereal etc. before going to bed. it’s usually not a warm dish like you have on dinner. but is supper different then?
