Pride Month with Stardew Valley
IT IS PRIDE MONTH MUTTER FLUFFERS!!!! So in honor of Pride month, I will play a queer friendly enough game in Stardew Valley. Me and several others counts it as queer since it allows you to have gay marriages in the game. All the marriageable candidates are Bi. I will try to talk about many things like what is wealth? I saw this today and listen, folks, we need to have a talk.
People speculate (probably correctly) that Rahul is on this list because his bio includes "he/they" as pronouns. But he has never said he's nonbinary.
Pronouns are not the same as identity.
Cis people can use they/them. Or neopronouns. So can binary trans people. Anyone can switch up their pronouns regularly. Their gender isn't actually relevant.
So just like you shouldn't assume you know someone's pronouns, you shouldn't assume you know their gender.
And yes, I know it's tempting to latch onto anyone you see as maybe a little bit queer like you and wrap them in a rainbow, but other people's queerness is not your business. Please stop making assumptions.
I really wish there was a place where I could go to socialize with other queer people that was quiet, low-key, and free.
