"Why am I not feeling better yet?" I ask myself after refusing to take it easy, drinking no water, and spending all day cleaning out a walk in closet.
the downsides of housewifing with anxiety
there were many reasons we chose to move to a housewife system in our household, it just makes sense with us and i do try to find ways to make money when I'm not buried under a pile of laundry and dishes.
we had a budget "meeting" last night and though we are all good, my mental health is the big part of my being holding me back from being able to work consistently. despite that though i already have an event to clown at later this month :D
the big con at the moment as spring has come is the fact that bugs leave hibernation and come out to seek the outside world and end up inside my house... horrible. especially when life has been so hectic that all my paranoid thoughts have been bug centered.
I've begun wearing my show heels inside to keep my feet off the ground, but sometimes a big bad shows itself and i retreat to my bed until the boyfriend can fix it and then do not very loud chores through the night to compensate..
today i found something in the bathroom and will be getting through the computer to do list.
I may or may have not tried to put the baby- I am currently babysitting -in the soup. Because skin that soft is bound to be good for something, if not tatsy! But seriously, this meat is a shank. And def not a baby.
Also, I just WhatApped my sister with this pic and the text 'baby's going for a swim. Nothing to worry about'.
She didn't like it. I haven't seen that many angry emojies in quite some time now. *insert cackle*

Has there been a fair amount of people using the nontrad homemaker/housewife tags for a long time or have I just been missing out? Tumblr has been showing me a lot lately and I'm just wondering where y'all were last year when I started this up 😭 I wasn't aware it was a tag people were using and I just checked the plain homemaker and housewife tags look for people. While I wouldn't say I'm actually traditional, I did use the tradwife and whatnot tags because it was the only place I was finding people. So I guess this is my official notification of change? 😅
I love horror, I listen to death metal and goth rocks (and more), I play a lot of video games, and I'm finally starting a serious witchcraft practice after dabbling and researching for around 10 years. I'm also queer, and I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate it into this more.
I originally saw "tradwife" as an overarching term for any dynamic where the more "feminine" partner did the homemaking. My definition always included trans people and any and all queer dynamics where one partner identifies as more "feminine". I'd had some conversations about this with trans friends who agreed so I thought this was a more popular view than it apparently is. I'm now realizing that most people who share my views on homemaking and general values use nontrad homemaker so I'll be switching to that as well. I'm open to discussions on this, I want to create an opportunity for learning better and doing better.
Me: *happily darning socks with my new toy*
My Wife: Would you rather I just buy new socks? This looks like a lot of work for you.
Me: Are you crazy? I'm having the time of my life right now! I love this!
Made dinner. It was pretty good. Next time I'm going to try something other than salmon. Vacuum sealed the leftovers and put them in the freezer. Cleaning up the kitchen and getting my deep clean done a bit late so I can work on some craft stuff.
