Why hello there and welcome to the latest installment of Supertrash where Jen and Alyssa discuss this week’s episode of Supergirl “Not Kansas.” Well, at least we thought we were w…
New Supertrash where Alyssa and Jen try to talk through their feelings on this very rough episode of Supergirl which included Kara constantly complaining about how much of a burden growing up on earth was, the most simplistic and convoluted storyline addressing gun control, and finally, the laundry detergent commercial that was Mon-el confessing his love to Kara.
Supercorp - Flowers.
Will Karamel happen?
So here’s the deal, I am NOT a fan of Karamel...I am like team SuperCorp (and obviously Sanvers <3) hardcore...but I am sure that won’t happen because life is not that good...
so with that said, do we think Karamel will actually happen?
This last episode shows that Mon-El likes Kara...
But does Kara like him?
I don’t think so...but they ended on an ambiguous note...she never actually came out and said “No i don’t return your feelings.”
I guess I am just looking for everyone else’s opinions...especially after how this last episode ended!
Thanks and hope to hear from the tumblr community soon! <3
Hi Guys! Welcome back to Supertrash: A SUPERGIRL podcast! That is right, Jen and Alyssa have put back on their Supergirl hats to discuss the show’s return episode “Schott Through the He…
This week on Supertrash Alyssa and Jen put on their #Supergirl hats for the show's return with "Schott Through the Heart," and Jen continues to loathe Mon-El with the fire of a thousand suns.
Spoilers through Supergirl season two, episode thirteen: “Mr. & Mrs. Mxyzptlk”
“Mon-El is a dry piece of toast compared to literally any other romantic option for Kara. Bring back Cat Grant’s son because I’ll take him over Mon-El any day. When VILLAINS (plural) are telling Kara that Mon-El isn’t worth her time, maybe home girl should at least entertain the notion that he’s a blandsome piece of cardboard in a bow tie. “
Wow. They saw it from episode 1.
It’s the perfect metaphor for many gay people, who’ve had to deal with problems that overcome many mere mortals.
