cisgender and heterosexual christians want to talk so much about 'denying' oneself until they have to do it themselves. the lgbtq+ people have been the only people they tell that to while they turn a blind eye on abuse of all kinds within their own congregation. i saw a comment claiming that they weren't and in that comment, i read something along the lines of "i have to deny myself of beautiful women because i am married." in other words, "i'm happily married that everyone already embraces with open arms and i have to avoid looking at other women!!"
first world problems, man!
you don't know what denying yourself actually means and it shows and it's fucking embarrassing.
until you deconstruct all ideologies and "religious beliefs" that pit you against your neighbor and reconstruct your beliefs to love as God commanded you to
until you learn to stop relying on man made institutions, including the church and putting your trust in God alone
until you have experienced so much injustice that all you have left is hate and loving anyway
until you humble yourself to the point that you are a worm in the dirt
you'll never know what it means to deny yourself.
your hypocrisy is no longer welcomed with me. until you learn to pull the log out of your own eye instead of spending all your time focusing on the specks in others, I don't want to hear shit about your idea of sin.
