when i first came out as trans to my parents, they said i wasn’t allowed to tell anyone other than my therapist because other people would not accept me and i would get jumped, according to them. my therapist said that was bs, but i still didn’t come out fully to anyone else for months. then when i finally started telling people they were all so so so supportive and kind. i was actually able to change my name among my friends, which i’m not even able to do with my parents. life is definitely getting better and i love my friends so much :)

so happy for you to have an accepting group of friends :') definition of "chosen family"

Our houses were being set on a blaze and now looking for where to sleep. Are voices are not heard because Kenya does not allow gay marriage but instead the communities in Kenya keep fighting us and now they burnt down our homesteads. Our people were caught in the fire and are nursing wounds as y'all can see in the pictures below. For those that may want to donate, please donate below as we are looking forward to getting money so that we can enclose our community with a fence and limit such attacks. We are sure with one love plus solidarity we shall have peace for all queers everywhere.

We also struggle to get food as we are not allowed to work in any company or organisation due to our gender but instead the support we get from y'all keeps us satisfied with food and medicine. Yesterday was #ExistransInter, and before that it was #ComingOut day, so here's my contribution via a (short) personal response to the anti-trans people and speeches I started in June on the occasion of the law against trans minors.

And today is also my 40th birthday, so it's time to take stock of my life.

Hier c'était l'#ExistransInter, et avant cela c'était la journée du #ComingOut, du coup voici ma contribution via une (courte) réponse personnelle aux personnes et discours anti-trans que j'avais commencé a faire en juin a l'occasion de la loi contre les mineurs trans.

Et c'est aussi mes 40 ans aujourd'hui, l'occasion de faire un point sur ma vie.
