How can anyone think that Spock from Star Trek is straight? I mean, just look at him. Straight? Alrighty then, Janet. Don't forget to take your meds. Spock is so obviously queer coded that he should be in the dictionary when you look up the word "queer coding". If you disagree, you're wrong. And before you comment, "But he dated Uhura!", "He kissed Nurse Chapel!", "He was going to marry T'Pring!". Okay, but that doesn't negate or erase Spock's queerness. No matter how many times writers give Spock a female love interest, it doesn't erase that Spock and Captain Kirk have been so obviously and helplessly in love with each other that they singlehandedly inspired women in the 1960s to create the the modern concept of shipping, and that people are STILL talking about Spirk now, in 2025. Kirk and Spock have been soulmates since Star Trek came out, and they will always be soulmates.
