Today's #ticheloftheday is a pre tied one, and it has the velvet headband I've been hearing so much about! I was in so. Much. Pain. Today from some normal doctor abuse, and I wanted to #hairwrap before going to the pharmacy. This was super easy and simple and didn't activate my growing migraine, which I could not have dealt with. Glad I have this as a support. I've been thinking a lot about #haircovering and why I'm so called to it. Ever since I was very little, like it's something I wanted to do, would shape towels after a shower, it was a very alluring part of thinking of sisterhood (raised Catholic, what a trip. I think there is ancestor stuff that's not revealed to me yet. The woman I pictured in my head as a little one matches the genetic makeup of the people I didn't yet know I belonged (complicated #adoption and I didn't find out about my Arab and Jewishness until a few years ago).
