Just got my tshirt from the St. John's farmer's market! They have flags, shirts, and pins down there today, and I gotta say they look awesome! Make sure you pop down if you get the chance and get some swag for the parade tomorrow (3pm at City Hall)!

I mean, words to live by, right?
"If she's passed out it's not consent. That's pretty much what we learned." So glad that this is finally being discussed. One of the biggest things that irked me about Sex Ed was the fact that the people teaching it had no training, and sometimes even gave out the wrong information to us. It's about time students get a comprehensive course about sex that covers consent, and won't just assume all students are cis/het.
“More than a quarter of a century after the NDP’s Svend Robinson came out as Canada’s first openly gay Member of Parliament, LGBTQ Canadians are asking why they aren’t better represented in the House of Commons – and whether they will be after the Oct. 19 vote.”
"Being trans still comes with stigma and confusion as people are remain more close-minded towards gender than sexuality." A bit late posting this, but still an important event that we believe needs more attention.
"He certainly sent the message to young people that they are important, that it's OK to be gay and you can be very successful."
