Hey. I'm making a visual novel- it's the project that's inspired me to get back to art and learn a whole host of new skills.
It's called Girlkisser Ultimate and it's set at a farmers market in the middle of a city. You play as a new vendor. You sell antiques. You meet people.
The main romance is with the market manager, who is 4'11", has a clipboard, and will not be making things easy for you. There's also a yarn vendor, a tech volunteer who named the group chat "Farmer's Market Bitches," a tarot reader, a therapist who shops there on weekends, and a jazz musician you hear before you see.
It's being built in Ren'Py by one person (me). The art is mine. It's a slow burn character study about people who've built walls and the ones patient enough to wait them out.
Expect wips, background art, character design rambles, and occasional panicked posts about Ren'Py syntax.
