sasha, leitner, and/or michael? :O
sasha: which episode you were most afraid of on your first time listening?
Oh man. To be veeeery honest, episode 2 freaked me out so much? Like, the isolation and the horror of the coffin just. Yikes. Lost john's cave also stands out a ton. I agree with you that s1 was a lot creepier because it was less Knowable and every incident was more spooky and weird rather than sth to fit into a pattern. Schwarzwald, Binary and the one about the mummy also deserve honorary mentions tbh.
leitner: did you do anything this decade you wished you'd listened to tma before doing? likewise, did you do anything that you wish you'd listened to tma after?
God, I really don't know about the former. Nothing comes to mind. As for the latter... possibly getting my diving license. I will now think of the Drowning Titan every time I enter the ocean, I suspect.
michael: did the "influence" of any entities feature prominently throughout your decade? which ones?
The Spiral, the Lonely, the Eye. The Spiral and Lonely... well, I got diagnosed with depression recently? It's been with me for awhile. Depression really is the Lonely and the Spiral combined, a hallway of lying voices telling you to go deeper into the center, further and further from the people you love and the vision of a successful you. The Eye because of my family situation (super queerphobic, I'm closeted and hiding A Lot from them). It's not great, super paranoia-inducing, but I'm alive. The Spiral again because I feel like I've been buried under a lot of lies about how the world is meant to be, how I'm meant to be, and what a functioning society should be that I'm slowly peeling away. An interesting thought. Maybe I'm more Spiral-aligned than I've realised... lotta room for mockery there.
