LONG POST
dear all the asshole anons bothering my close friend @bloominghead-art : leave them alone.
art is something grown and cultivated through learning. it involves experimenting with styles and i myself have often copied someone’s eles drawing. Copying someone else’s art is a huge learning experience and every artist i know that has done that credits the original artist if they post it at all.
copying someone’s else’s art forces a person to draw differently and helps said person learn more about art. maybe in doing that, you learn how to draw hands better and can adapt what you have learned into your own style. or maybe you learned that you can’t draw hands, but you can find ways to hide that.
artists learn from one another, that’s just how it is. if you aren’t an artist shut the fuck up and leave my friend alone, you have no room to speak. and if you are and you are calling them out for something you have likely done yourself?????? shame on you. and if you haven’t done that, you are really limiting yourself.
tl;dr copying other artists & crediting them is common practice & a way to learn, so stop being a dick to wonderful person.
i'm trying to write this dang essay on use of the word queer & i gotta talk about discourse but it's exhausting and hard to focus on because its a lot of reading ppls posts on here & it feels very impersonal & weird and i'm just very tired & i need to like?? bring this to me??
had to read the Doll’s House by Neil Gaiman for a class. it was pretty damn intense, especially for a highschool senior class. @neil-gaiman that book was hard to read and as much as i am interested, i don’t think i can read the rest of the series. however, i appreciate what i’ve learned from this book. i don’t know what i was supposed to learn, but i have to say that your work gave me a new perspective. i was of the opinion that ultimately, we all die and we serve no purpose and so i keep living to make the lives of others around me better. however, i suppose we all live to live, that is we serve ourselves and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
when i try to send a post, why does your url come up in the suggested. i blocked you. i hate this reminder every time i want to send something. you haunt me still and i hate this i hate it i hate it. just leave me alone. please. you made an entirely new instagram for my birthday and the handle was happybirthday and my name on the end and why. why couldn’t you just leave me alone. i don’t want this in my life anymore and i’m scared that you made another blog on here that i don’t know about. that i think you are just one of my followers but secretly it’s you and i’m scared and i just want you to leave me alone
