So, this is a tapioca with a filling of romeo e julieta (romeo and juliet).

Tapioca is made of cassava starch and the filling is cheese and goiabada.

The cheese that is used it's called queijo minas, which is similar to cottage cheese. Goiabada is guava paste that it's made in a big block or sometimes in jam.

Why the combination of cheese and goiabada it's called romeo and juliet? I have no idea.

I think it's because the cheese is salty and de goiabada is really sweet and they taste amazing together.

Traditionally tapioca is eat with only butter and cheese, but you can put anything in it. Sky is the limit.
