Happy Valentine's Day, Queliot!

Chapter 3 of you want it darker? || dark king eliot is now live! As a Queliot gift for Valentine's Day!

This chapter does still focus on Eliot's grief, and Quentin's still technically dead (but not really/permanently?). But, as dark and angsty as this story can be, there's a strong emphasis on the Queliot love story. It feels essential to me. Hopefully you’ll agree! Big 🍑❤️ to all of you today (Happy Valentine’s Day, no matter when you read this!) (Yes, today this fic finally earns its E-rating!)

Summary for Chapter 3 specifically:

Eliot sees glimpses of Quentin everywhere. Hears his voice. Feels his phantom touch.

He knows it's really Q. And that no one will believe him. Telling Margo or Julia will only make them worry more.

Meanwhile, attempts to bring Quentin back continue to fail. Will a visit with an old friend help turn things around?

Since I finished a square on my Queliot Bingo Card, here's an update!

As it appears that there are definitely some themes here that I'm really hung up on and which appear in quite a lot of my fic, I'm definitel

I'm updating the original post as I go because I've got a link to the original Tumblr "Queliot Bingo progress" post in the notes section for a lot of the relevant fic on AO3. So far, I've only managed to finish one Queliot Bingo work that I've added to the AO3 collection, but slow and steady, right?

With this update, I went ahead & made public my plans for which of my in-progress WIPs will become part of this. HOWEVER--I still have a lot of squares I need to add--as well as a crazy number of WIPs to finish--while meanwhile I have a lot of IRL demands/issues that are slowing me down. So we're going to be here a while 😂

It should be noted that not every WIP is going to be part of Queliot Bingo, either, so there are...more... 😂😂

Queliot Bingo Card update

Thanks again to @queliotbingo for creating this challenge! I may be the slowest bingo player, but I will get there in the end!

I'm working on a wide variety of WIPs, and have either added some of the themes to those, or started a new fic/picked up a long-awaited headcanon. So I've added a few more "in progress" boxes that will eventually be covered. By the rules of the game, the square isn't filled till the fic or work is complete. So green represents completed works and blue says "in progress." (I'll make it all look fancier when I'm done!)

This time I'm going to organize by square. I love these themes/motifs, so they appear in more than one work, and I'm just going to list all the works that will be part of my Queliot Bingo when they're complete.

By the way: Mosaic Haiku will always be complete and yet always available to add a new pattern. So it's been hard to know when to add it. My current plan is that when all posted chapters have all the art I intend to make for them, it will go into the collection. With that in mind, once I achieve 100% art, I will make sure that any unexpected future chapters quickly achieve art fulfillment as well so that it stays "complete."

Queliot Bingo Progress

Just taking a moment to check in with my progress. Please note, most of these squares aren't finished--I just circled the squares that I'm currently working on with my various WIPs. Also: If I can, I may well try to cover every square; I'm definitely covering several squares multiple times because they're some of my favorite things. So grateful to @queliotbingo for this amazing challenge! I'll no doubt be enjoying this for quite some time...

Queliot Bingo 2021 Update #1

Just a reminder, this is my Queliot Bingo card for 2021. 25 prompts, no free spaces. As of today, I have finally figured out possible plots for all 25 prompts (in some cases, this does mean combining 2 or more prompts). I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, but I thought I would give some little teasers of what I’m thinking and where I’m going. Some shit might be very vague, while some stuff may be clearer. Nothing has been written as of yet, but outlining is beginning to take place on some, research on others, backstories galore, and moodboarding on others. 

Sex Work AU/Secrets Magic - Sex work is completely valid, some people have student loans and medical bills to pay, some people just want to have sex with people without a mask and without expectations, and then sometimes those people have their worlds unexpectedly collide,

Blind Date - Hint? Magical dark academia AU
