dude ur dwk crime au animation is SICK! how did u decide which weapon/fight technic each member of the bunch uses? is there a deeper reason or is it based on Vibes?
Aww thanks so much dude! I mean whenever I draw most ideas mostly come off of vibes but I did put some thought on some of the bunch‘s fighting choice since I had so many thoughts for this au specifically!
Jojo and Raban had more of a rapper‘s type of movement style since I feel like they are the least violent members of the crime au. They would just try to be intimidating.
The reason why I got Deniz a gun is bcuz I struggled so hard to give him a cool dynamic pose with anything else and ig the gun worked better, also since policemen usually have pistols as weapons most of the time so it fit Deniz since he‘s also got a background with the police
Both Leon and Markus use fists but in different ways which I hoped I evoked through my animation^^ Leon is more aggressive and holds up his fist swiftly as to highlight how hot-headed he is while Markus just cracks his knuckles in a more defensive way.
Vanessa does a cool kick because I think her vibe for that fits her too well and she‘s a badass so ofc she gotta kick some ass with a spin kick.
Marlon uses a knife which was my favorite part to animate!! He seemed like the guy to me who researches all about dangerous techniques to strike down an enemy and to be aware of and I suppose knifes are his speciality. Kong is mischievously cheeky and scary so doing a threatening finger gun just fit him.
