Hello everybody who hasn't blocked me, sorry for bringing up old bullshit but I just can't fathom the shit that has happened in this community over the past year (?). Maybe less actually, but I think I'll make my point clear.

I was aware when all these issues arose, I haven't been active in ages, obviously, but God this still grinds my gears. Yeah, to an extent I'm on the #DwkTumblrBlacklist cause apparently thinking something that's damaging to your mental health is damaging!?!? Big whoop. This is gonna be a long rant, probably, no guarantee anybody important will see this but still.

First of all, I joined this community in 2022, I was 13 and was majorly hyperfixated on this show, like crazily, back then nobody was active, nobody made posts (specifically about the animated version of Dwk) and I guess I sort of kick-started the return. I interacted with everyone and anyone, and it brought certain people... Out of their grave, so to speak. God I wish I hadn't.

I'd had minor in my bio since the beginning, I only removed it a year or two ago because I wasn't active, fyi I'm still a minor (17). ANYWAY, this was brought up by somebody else in the community in when everything came to a head, but yeah asking someone with minor in their bio if they want NSFW art of their faves is weird. Especially since SOMEBODY didn't have minor in their bio either? But sure, that's glossed over, whatever.

I only realised that Fara (or Sen??? Sorry if that's what they prefer idk) made nsfw art of the main cast when I searched the show up on r34 in 2023. Let me tell you, I couldn't believe my eyes. God forbid a fella doesn't wanna see the youngest character on the show (Jojo) getting dicked down by a wolf he befriended. I didn't wanna believe it at first, obviously, because me and Fara were on good terms. Typically you don't wanna believe bullshit like that. But colour me surprised when I saw a rant they'd made about how anti-shippers are the real pedophiles.

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED. Yes, attacking younger pro/dark shippers is weird, very weird, and that was probably were my agreance ended. I don't remember much from that rant, except how strange it was; in no actual context would a anti shipper be a pedophile, especially coming from an ADULT who consumes that media. At some point, you've just gotta accept it.

Liking kids, fictional or not, at the ripe old age of over fucking eighteen is pretty pedophilic if you ask me. Yes, I acknowledge Sen has issues, and yes, I acknowledge that the hate train I could possibly get for this is gonna be crazy, but Jesus Christ how can you at your grown age actually try and defend yourself.

1. Producing and publishing sexually explicit content of minors (fictional or other) opens a gateway to pedophiles no matter what you do. Congrats! You've made csam.

2. Yes, therapists CAN encourage you to express and cope through art, HOWEVER this should specifically be done in ways that aren't in relation to your specific kinks. Why? Because that fucking internalises the kid diddler shit you just made. "Wow I find (insert kink) so hot! Hmmm... I should draw a kid having (insert kink) done to them!!" What does that cause? "Wow it's so hot when (insert kink you like) is done to kids!" Which pretty often leads to... "Wow I love kids!!!!"

3. Defending yourself (from what I've seen) by saying "ooouuhhhh I don't owe you anythiiinngggg" is dismissive of the problem YOU have and the problem people have with YOU. If people have found you do things they aren't comfortable with and/or is generally inappropriate, to an extent you should at least have an argument.

4. "It doesn't affect me!" Syfm. To say that with a straight face is complete bullshit, anything and everything we consume is internalised to an EXTENT, and if you're constantly consuming said media how much is it gonna affect you? A bitch ton. Because that's basic biology and psychology.

Now, arguably, I haven't been there for pretty any of the actual arguing, as I said Sen blocked me without saying anything, which is also super mature!!! Hahaha!!!! So mature guys!!!!!!! Anyways, yes I am open to nuanced discussion, that should be obvious, but what I'm not open to is bullshit, baseless arguments that lead to nothing. It's crazy that like 40-50% of the people you see active nowadays actually support Sen, too. Grow up guys, seriously.
