Also I managed to blunder my way back into the Royal Bethlehem so whoops. That's my quest update for the night, I'll work on getting out of a State of Some Confusion tomorrow.]]

It is done. 

I've--I've done it, I've refused them. The devils shan't be back asking for my soul for... Hopefully, ever; but they shall at least be deterred for a long while now.

Xe rubs the back of xer hand and wrist, which bears a few deep and angry-looking scratch marks. 

...The Devilless was not happy. But I am much relieved. There are other things I have to attend to, and having a soul might prove to be... useful.

The corners of xer mouth twist upwards. It's obviously a deeper relief to keeping xer soul than just the usefulness, but whatever. Xer soul is safe for the time being. Crisis averted.

As it stands, Shewa's actually pretty dangerously close to losing xer soul. I'm not sure if xe cares or not. 

I mean last night xe kind of had a weird breakdown and went actively seeking out devils to get rid of it, so now my Intimate of Devils quality sits neatly at 12.

Xe's kind of slowly starting to realize what this process would entail though and it's making xer at least a little nervous. Xe may still want to go through with it. Or not. But at this moment Shewa is fairly certain that xe's in too deep already. WELP.

Also I kind of spoiled from the wiki that I don't actually think there is any way one can get one's soul bACK once you get an infernal contract so that might be adding to it but uh 

idk xe's still feeling melancholy and wretched and I have no clue what to do about it sO we'll see. OTL;;

I have gained access to the Flit. It's... rather pretty, I think, actually. We shall see what it holds for my pursuits.
