Deep Character Questions
How does your character change over the course of the story? In what ways do they stay the same? Explain.
What are some hardships your character goes through? Why is it important they go through these?
When your character has a problem, how are they most likely to solve it? Why do they solve it the way that they do?
Does their childhood have a role in how they behave in the story? If so, how and why does this affect your character?
What are some traits about your character that readers can find relatable? List and explain.
What are their flaws? Explain why they have these flaws and if your character tries to work on them.
Does your character plan for the future or do they just hope for the best? Explain how this works out for them?
Would your character take the easy way or hard way when performing a task? Explain why.
What are some morals your character has? Explain.
What is something that they consider so valuable no amount of money in the world could buy it? Why do they think so highly of this? Explain.
