Hi y'all! I’m Max (but you may have known me as io), and I’ve been on tumblr since 2012 and I’m here til the whole place burns down. I’m a nonbinary trans guy, I have basically no other social media, I am a mobility aid user and former bioarchaeologist, and I’m currently a stay at home cat parent.

On this blog you’ll mostly see me talk memes, politics, and whatever random stuff floats my way. I don’t really have a theme or plan here. I have a few consistent tags that ill list below, but please note that I may miss some stuff and if you need something like bugs, insects, or horror tagged this may not be the blog for you. I do also occasionally post some personal stuff, and I try to keep it trigger tagged whenever I can.

I keep anons turned off nowadays, and they’ll probably stay that way. I like reading tags and comments so feel free to yap!

I don’t have a DNI- this space functions on the honor system. I block liberally, it’s nothing personal, and I generally don’t care who comes on my blog as long as they aren’t being an asshole. If you disagree with me or the stuff I post, that’s okay, just be respectful. If you’re a minor, please be safe and learn practical internet safety rules. There needs to be a movement of people putting paint in fire extinguishers and super soakers and just covering every security camera that has been put up over the last forty years with paint or just pulling them down with like shovels and hoes or whatever they can do because honestly everyone hates them just get rid of them

well i'm back from the redwoods for the summer, and shooting for a couple of shop updates this season. and the first shop update of the summer is gonna be NEXT FRIDAY!!! june 12th at 6:00 PM mountian time!!!!!

it’ll be some of the leftover pieces I’ve had sitting around from winter break, and also a handful of the new weird pieces I’ve been making during the school year at the cone 10 studio out in cali >:^) some of which i've already started posting up here

i'll get listing previews up in the shop in the next week, but for now you can mark your calendars and hopefully take these guys off my hands so i can go make more guys!!!
