Y'know what, fuck it. The AITRPFT kids (like the teens) exist in the Pokemon AU. They were in a similar situation as Dream and Nightmare (very little money, signed up with the lab for money) and. well. it wasn't a great place for kids, though they're probably at their usual ages by the time they sign up for it (so about fourteen, sixteen, and... probably seventeen/eighteen?).
Hope might also exist if I can figure out a timeline for them.
Dream and Nightmare decided these kids are now their kids. Someone has to help them through the "Holy shit I'm a Pokeperson" thing, and who better than the only other people to survive it?
