How to ask a question and What happens after
You can ask a question through Asks or through Submissions. The Ask feature will have anon turned on. If it ever gets turned off, you can still send in an Ask. We will copy and paste your question into a text post, so you will remain anonymous. This does not count if anon is turned on.
To go anonymous on Submissions, log out of your account. Tumblr will ask for an e-mail. You can fill in "[email protected]" (or any other e-mail site).
Phrase your question clearly. If it is uncertain what you mean, Mod will ask you to clarify.
Do not be rude. genuine-questions does not tolerate hateful language, so phrase your question as politely as you can.
After you've submitted a question, Mod will post your Ask or Submission onto the blog. It is then up to the people of Tumblr to answer your question. Mod will reblog answers they think answer the question well, but it is up to the asker to keep an eye on the answers the post receives.
Mods will not answer questions unless specifically asked to do so.
For questions directed at the Mods put "@GQ" (for mod GQ) or "@R" (for mod Rabbit) before or after your question.
For questions not directed at the mods, but wanting an answer from the mods, put a "+" (for Rabbit) or a " * " (for GQ) before or after your question.
