That being said, it time for another Question Wednesday!!

QUESTION WEDNESDAY!
Sorry for the absence last week y’all!
This week I wanted to ask:
What are some great costumes for Nonbinary folks? Additionally, if you celebrate, what are you dressing up as for halloween??
If you really wanna go hogwild I’d love to see some pictures of y’all! Feel free to submit :D
I look forward to seeing everyone’s response!

Am I A Girl? by Poppy isn't my typical jam but that feeling of wanting to just be the gender you're assigned and everything making more sense but it making less sense because it's just not who you are definitely feels familiar.
Oh wow yeah this song is a whole nonbinary mood, it’s not something I would necessarily consider my style either but I really love it.
“Don’t evaluate me as woman or man” mood Poppy, mood.
Thanks so much for sending this song rec in!!

Body Was Made by Ezra Furman has been my enbe JAM ever since someone recommended it to me. I just listen to it on repeat for hours when I'm feeling unseen or invalidated.
This is a great recommendation!! I had never heard his music before and this song is a straight up boogie. It's got almost a motown feel, it's so enjoyable and fun!
It's also a bit discreet without mentioning anything explicity nonbinary which I kinda love because not only is it a safe song to jam out to around other even if you're not out, but it can be uplifting and lovely for all sorts of people. Thanks for sending this in!

I love/dislike that most nonbinary representation is/are robots and aliens.
Honestly this is a huge mood.
I have such personal affection for robots and aliens, I think that they're so neat and they're usually my favorite character. But we need...more than that for rep.

Mal Blum is a nonbinary musician. They toured with Welcome to Night Vale, and I got to see one of the live shows where they performed. They/them are sometimes my pronouns and this was the first time I'd ever seen someone using them and having them just be completely respected and normalized and not treated as a big deal. I cried there in the theater in the dark, trying to hide it from my mom and sister (I'm closeted), but I felt so connected and alive. And I love Mal's music.
That’s such a lovely experience to have, thank you so much for sharing <3
I looked up some of their music and I am a new fan of theirs, here’s one of my favorite songs I’ve listened to so far!
Also Welcome to Nightvale is amazing for inclusivity they’ve always done a great job and I love the show.

I Am Her by the amazing and wonderful soul that is Shea Diamond is like a personal trans anthem she wrote for herself, and it's SO GOOD. It's about taking pride in yourself and being confident about who you are and not being afraid to be you even if that means being different. "Don't care too much what other people say / I get along swell by my goddamn self / Never asked for no one's philosophy / It's obvious I'm proud of me" YESSSS
Now this is an ANTHEM wow, it’s so hardcore and also so heckin groovy. It’s safe to say I’m a little in love.
If you need a trans power song this is it friends, what a legend.
Thank you so so much for sharing this anon!
