i just remembered i drew this goofy thing like forever ago after reading the chapter in hotsc where i think sonic sees metal as neo for the first time. and i still love it actually so i thought i'd share

Sonic gay panicking is literally what happened during that scene. The epilogue goes more in depth to it, since we only ever saw things from Metal's/Neo's POV, so we'll see Sonic talk about Neo’s form 👀

So I've seen Blues of a Cafe mentioned occasionally, and I've always just gone "huh, that's cool!" and then never read it

Anyway, I stumbled upon this video at midnight and my first thought was "oh. Oh this is them"

So now I want to read the fic myself and see how accurate it is with my own eyes XD

Omg that video 😭 that's definitely Sonic and Metal one month into their relationship.

And not to toot my own horn, but Blues Of A Cafe is one of my masterpieces and you'll definitely not regret reading it. There's something along the same type of banter from that video to the ones in my cafe au fic 😌 Heck, watching this gives me an idea for the sequel I'll be writing too.

house of blues!!!

This one is actually a wip only in name. I just finished the plot outline for it yesterday and will absolutely start writing it once BoaE is over.

House of Blues takes a lot of inspiration from Breath of the Wild and lore from Sonic Frontiers and a bit from this sci-fi movie I'm a huge fan of (Interstellar, for those interested).

Following a huge battle, Sonic sleeps for a thousand years and wakes up with no memories, not even his name. But he wakes up to a broken message from someone named Tails who calls him Sonic and says something about the end (yes, I'm referring to The End from Sonic Frontiers, but Sonic himself doesn't know that 👀). He eventually meets Metal, who was offline for the same time period Sonic has been asleep, and while Metal is upset Sonic doesn't remember him, he joins Sonic and eventually tells Sonic what he needs to do. They journey together for the whole fic, we get to see their relationship progress and how the past keeps coming back in someway. We also see a bunch of old faces again, hence the reincarnation tag I included in a summary in one of my other posts.

I'm paraphrasing a lot and leaving out a lot of details because I still want this to be a surprise for when it's finally out!!

This one is a very recent wip. For context, I spent the last three weeks or so watching ALL three seasons of Hannibal. I tend to get inspired by content I consume. You can guess where this is going.

It's very likely that I will write this wip in October for spooky season with maybe 2 or 3 chapters??? I don't have much on it other than

Sonic is a cannibal. He still likes chili dogs

Sonic doesn't eat friends

Sonic falls in love with Metal at first sight

Metal doesn't judge Sonic. He's a robot after all, all meat is the same to him. Sonic pines even more because of it

The whole world knows their hero is a cannibal and compensate it by filling the streets with chili dog vendors. It only slightly works

Not at all!!

Metallic Blue is the sequel to Blues of a Cafe! It's a one-shot entirely told in Metal’s POV that covers half of Blues of a Cafe and events after it.

The majority of the one-shot is entirely fluff with even more shenanigans. We see more characters show up too and more Sage and Metal interactions.

Sonic and Metal are obviously a very lovey-dovey couple and it's cute at first but then customers get tired of seeing it and wish Sonic really does get ban or something lol.

It's wip because I have no idea when I will write it. Summer maybe?? Or winter. Who knows asdfghjkl

Tell me about the Immortal Hedgehogs AU :O

As it says on the tin, all the hedgehogs are immortals. Or more accurately, they're all gods. It takes place in an entirely different universe where they guide humans and mobians over thousands of years

Each hedgehog serves a different role. I'll list them all in the order they manifest into existence

Amy - Goddess of Life, Mother of All

Sonic - God of the Realm, The Protector, The Hero

Metal - The False God, Shapeshifter, Many Face God

Shadow - God of Death, King of the Underworld

Silver - God of Hope, The Endless Dream

Amy here is like Zeus but she's definitely more compassionate. She has the final word. No one really argues against her because the others technically exist because of her lol. A lot of festivals are thrown for her. She's the strongest god.

Sonic is an adamant follower of Amy and fought for her honor in the early days. He's the most popular god.

Metal was created by Robotnik's attempt to conquer the world. The godly DNA, however, effectively heightened his sentience and left Robotnik behind to follow the right master, Amy. He's an obscure god but has a dedicated cult.

Shadow initially did not get along with anyone. But after experiencing Amy’s righteous fury, he's the only god to date to take his role seriously. He's also an overachiever. He's the most respected god.

Silver is the only one who obeys Amy's commands without arguing since their godly duties align more often than not. He's also her second in command despite being the youngest god. He receives the most prayers.

I just finished big brawl and currently in triceraton invasion arc but you are tempting me to re-rewatch Big Brawl ..... Uhhh they make me so

I dont know what it is but something about the eps with Usagi and his and Leo's voice lines to eachother just hit that switch in the brain that goes NOW KISS

HELP THAT WAS LITERALLY ME TOO.

I like to think it's because it's the first time Leo truly experiences a friend who shares many of his interests right out of the gate. Doesn't help that Usagi was so honorable, saving Leo from assassins and then fighting each other as equals and having a grand ole time doing so. They respect each other, they genuinely enjoy each other's presence, THEY GIFTED SWORDS FOR EACH OTHER.

And it is SO easy to turn that closely knitted friendship to romance because it's shown they care about each other a lot. We even see Usagi come to visit Leo in his depression arc and attempt to reach out to him because he CARES so much about him and it's just so. Beautiful.

They SHOULD just kiss. The writers didn't do it but I sure as heck will.
