so there’s the idea that emotions aren’t uniform across cultures, and there are some specific to one place

i kinda feel as though the past couple of years have created an emotion that’s experienced by people who spend a good chunk of time online. basically if nihilism was an emotion, or radio static, or the feeling of putting on warm clothes out of the dryer and realizing as they get cold that they’re still damp. it’s like somewhere between disbelief, anger, sorrow, and fear, but it also instills just utter exhaustion when you feel it
