“Not when it makes me look like Elle Woods.” Aria shook her head as she glanced down at her cotton candy coloured clothes in the laundry basket. “Look. I appreciate you are trying to help out with the cleaning and shit but TRY to be more careful next time, okay? ”
@dearestroman
There are days the tiredness comes in both forms, physical and mental. She felt her body spiral into exhaustion, yet her mind was still revisiting her childhood memories. She could hear her mother voice echoing, it was like her mind was playing a videotape over and over again. Her childlike self was in her mother’s embrace- a comfortable safety for any child. It didn’t take long until the peacefulness faded away and she was left drenched in a red puddle. She screamed as she saw her mother laying lifeless on the ground.
“NO!” Aria hissed,burying her head in her hands. It didn’t take long until the memories faded from her head and the hacker was soon sent back to reality. Aria ran her hand through her dark chocolate locks as she tries to take deep breathes to calm herself.
“Tack gode gud!” The hacker sighed in relief when she turned her and saw a bar sign a few meters away. Only one thing could burn the anxiety right out– and that was alcohol.
The bar was quiet and empty. The only living thing in there was the sounds from the tv screen and bartender who was cleaning a few glass on the counter.
“Vodka.” Aria immediately told the bartender as she sat down, without even being aware that there was a man sitting next to her. Not that she didn’t care anyways…
The hacker swallowed the vodka down in one go and signaling the bartender for another. After a few shots, she could finally feel the alcohol numbing the high anxiety that she felt before.
Aria pulled out a cigarette from the pack that she was carrying and started to lit it, slowly breathing out a cloud of gray from her lips.
“Um…mam.No smoking, please.” The bartender said,gesturing at her cigarette.
The hacker raised her eyebrows as she continued to smoke without giving the bartender an eye contact,fully ignoring his request.
“Yeah, we wouldn’t want to upset all the customers in here,” she said in a sarcastic tone.
Dismissed by death // Open starter
This was it? This is how it ends? Aria’s arms and legs were growing increasingly heavy, every breath is a tormenting fight for air. Aria tries to cough up the water, but only ends up inhaling more water involuntarily. Pain and exhaustion are the only senses her body could feel now. She doesn’t scream, she just stares into the nothingness of the ocean. Did death finally decide it was her time? A quite painful way to go, but…it’s nothing compared to the pain she’s been feeling her whole life.
Her skin that was once a warm deep tone, was now purple. She feels numb. She feels drowsy…she finally closes her eyes,letting herself get consumed by the darkness. Something or someone pulls her out of the surface. An unknown face is staring down at her.The eyes can barely register the face through the bright light. Looks like she was dismissed by death…again.
Happy Holidays ya’ll!
It's not beginning to look like Xmas
@goddamnmuses
”I guess it will be only you and I this Christmas, Wade. My dad is with his new girlfriend, my brother is doing...well I have no idea what he is doing, I never do.” She takes a sip from her wine glass and leans against the wall. “It’s okay...No big deal. I told my dad that he should spend time with his girlfriend and her family. I was asked to join but I do NOT wanna be in an awkward ‘daughter meets her daddy’s new girlfriend’ interaction.” She grimaces at thought before shoving the whole wine down her throat. She looks down at the filled wine glass that Wade holds and takes it away from his grip with her other free hand. “I’m so gonna kill my brother for skipping Christmas. ” She mumbles, draining the other glass dry.

{The Vulcan raised a brow at the other man, heart beating in his side. Honestly, the Countdown had been the last object on Spock’s mind. There were more pressing matters to pursue. At yet, as he glanced down at his wrist a few minutes into conversation with the man, the clock must have gone off quite some time ago. Spock had not noticed.}
