I think they had it written under a different name before? I think they rewrote the beginning like twice, maybe you read one of those and are subconsciously remembering it. Or maybe someone else had Donnie make robot oozesquitos and I'm the one not remembering shit.
Draxum has totally abandoned the oozesquito design though in my fic, he wouldn't bother having Galois make robot ones. I'm actually trying to think of how he's going distribute the mutagen now because he saw how easily thwarted the oozesquito design was.
the ace attorney trilogy is an incredible experience. I'm not without criticisms of it, but the stories it tells, as well as the overarching narrative, are all wonderful.
