So those fuckers are dead now, yeah? They were supposed to run out of oxygen this morning. A horrific way to go but I have very little sympathy for idiotic billionaires and CEOs who flat out say they want to scrap safety regulations so... Rest In Saltwater, I guess

Anyway what if they don't find the Titan for like a hundred or so years. What would the corpses be like? There's no longer any oxygen in the submersible and it's very cold down there, would they be preserved and/or mummified in any sort of way? Or would the bacteria they innately carried on board be enough to decompose them during that time? What if they're down there for even longer? Would the poor souls who opened the metal tomb that washed onto a beach be hit with a millennia-old stench?
