fire hoopers! help?
i think i'm going to order some quick wicks from synergy flowarts!!!! as much as i LOVE the hoops available at sacred flame, the idea of permanent wicks worries me (what if i break the hoop?!?! then i'm out like $150!!) ....anyway, i'm just a little unsure what to get as far as wick size and spine length.
i intend to order the wicks for 3/4 OD HDPE or polypro tubing, and I'll probably use them on a 33/34" diameter hoop. although i love my super skinny 5/8 polypro tubing, its so light and fast that i'm not sure its the best choice for a beginner fire spinner.
anyway...i'm deciding between 1" wick with 5.5" spine or 1.5" wick with a 5" or 6" spine. i'd really appreciate any advice/tips/thoughts on the subject matter as i'm totally clueless!
thank you!!!
