These adorable fox cupcakes are perfect for any occasion and can be decorated in just 5 minutes or less! They're as fun to make as they are to eat.
Ingredients: 1 box of chocolate cake mix. 3 eggs. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 cup water. 1/2 cup chocolate frosting. 1/4 cup white frosting. 12 chocolate truffles. 24 candy eyes. 12 mini pretzels. Red food coloring. Black food coloring.
Instructions: Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put paper liners in a cupcake pan. Put the eggs, vegetable oil, water, and chocolate cake mix in a mixing bowl. Mix until it's smooth. The cake batter should be about two thirds of the way up each cupcake liner. In a hot oven, bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. On a wire rack, let the cupcakes cool all the way down. Put a thin layer of chocolate frosting on top of each cupcake once they are cool to make the fox's fur. For the fox's face, use white frosting to make two circles on each cupcake. To make the fox's nose, put a chocolate truffle in the middle of each white circle. To finish the fox's face, add two candy eyes on top of the truffle. To make the fox ears, cut the mini pretzels in half and press one half into the top of each cupcake. To make the fox's mouth, mix a little red food coloring into the rest of the white frosting. Then, use black food coloring to give the eyes and nose more detail. To make the fox's ears, pipe a small tuft of frosting on top of each cupcake. Your sweet fox cupcakes are ready to make everyone happy.
