Slush

She bemoaned that The snow hadn't completely melted Before the heavy rain

She needed new galloshes Her current ones she'd need a crowbar To pry off

She is strange Certainly

She hated rain But she's fond of snow However, she didn't much care

For this current end result Being even more upset with Having wet socks.

A quick hello a long goodbye in summer we laugh by winter we cry some sage advice the years fly by be sure to live before you die

Setting sail for the sunset ever grateful for the time we’ve shared if nothing else, please remember well shown or not, I always cared

These Days

Walking together gardens lush sun shower teardrops golden rays springtime yet it feels like winter we don’t talk that much these days

Feels like I've heard this many times before and here you are reminding me it's time, it's time, to try again while I find no strength or hope without you gently whisper look within but I've fallen down on so many occasions an angry, fearful, petulant child shouts yet if you insist, I'll try once more though please stay close, I have my doubts
