"Our spirits arise through sweet saunter, without an over fixation of control. To be overly critical is to miss the opportunity to experience everything fully and let your love grow." —Mise-n-abyme

btw i hate the "slop" suffix. language creates perception and emotion and if everyone doesnt stop hating themselves and others in funny silly satirical ways lmao i WILL start taking hostages

"Happy New Year"
What feels new?
Air feels the same,
Faces look familiar.
The mirror shows a similar visage,
My heart still hides a mirage.
Even the ache has stayed, for God's sake.
"What feels new?" I asked again.
A voice, a kind one...
asked back-
How would a mere switch in numbers Make your ancient existence feel new?
Chase wonder, mystery, hope.
You can never start over.
So chase a change of plot,
Your new year will start then, and only then.

I Cannot (And Yet)
I cannot grant you tranquility and yet I've some I'd love to share while asking you to look within assured that you will find it there I cannot give the moon to you and yet I shall gladly point the way I know not what the future holds still I will walk with you this day I cannot say where love resides and yet I'm certain it can be found if only you will spread your wings as your kind heart is now unbound
I make the courtesy call! "Do you think you love him?" Blah, blah, blah.
