Enjoy a hassle-free Thanksgiving with this crispy air fryer turkey recipe. The air fryer cooks the turkey to perfection, giving it a crispy skin and juicy, flavorful meat. It's a quick and easy way to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving centerpiece.
Ingredients: 1 whole turkey 12-14 pounds. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 tablespoon salt. 1 tablespoon black pepper. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon paprika. 1 tablespoon dried thyme. 1 tablespoon dried rosemary.
Instructions: Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 350F 175C. Paprika, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a small bowl to make a seasoning blend. Use paper towels to dry the turkey all over, inside and out. Rub the turkey with the olive oil, and then season it all over, inside and out, with the mix of spices you made earlier. Season the turkey and put the breast side down in the air fryer basket. For 30 minutes, air fry the turkey at 350F 175C. Slowly turn the turkey over so the breast side is now facing up after 30 minutes. Fry the turkey breast in the air at 350F 175C for another 30 to 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C and the skin is crispy and golden brown. Once the turkey is done, take it out of the air fryer and let it sit for 15 minutes before cutting it up. Cut up your crispy Thanksgiving turkey and serve it with your favorite sides.
