I just pickled some grapes 🍇. It’s 12 hours before they’re supposed to be ready but they’re tasting pretty marvellous already. I combined 450 mls red wine vinegar with 200 mls natural golden sugar, 1tsp salt, 1 tsp yellow mustard seeds, 1 tsp black mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp white peppercorns, 1/2 tsp pink peppercorns, 1 star anise, 5 cloves. Boiled it up and left it to cool while I prepared the grapes I had at home. Cut off the stem end to allow an area of flesh exposed to absorb the vinegar and pack in a crock. When the liquid has cooled a bit, pour over the grapes to cover, add a lid and wait for about 12 hours for the flavours to meld. #recipe #gf #glutenfree #pickle #quicktocook
