There’s homicidal balls of iron flying around and surely Harry isn’t the only person to ever fall off their broom. - Snape, what the literal fuck is your damage? You can’t just make up rules. - “A horrible sight met his eyes. Snape and Filch were inside, alone. Snape was holding his robes above the knee.” Take those three sentences out of context and they become hilarious. Snape/Filch OTP. - The banner with the lion that all the Gryffindors pitched in on is SO CUTE I CANNOT. And it makes Harry feel braver jajjladsfjsdlkjklafdjksjdfkl awwww - I know Jo is speaking poetically about how ugly Flint is, but I do not want to know how a child would come to have troll blood. Eurgh. - I wish all sports were commentated by Lee Jordan. - She’s switching POV again but it makes a lot more sense this time. - Floating above the game seems like the best way to Seek. - Lee is a delight but if bias is a problem, they should have a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff commentate Gryffindor vs. Slytherin games, and so on. Someone without loyalties to one team or another. I mean besides the usual anti-Slytherin discrimination which I still maintain is bullshit. -Did no one notice Quirrell muttering? - The Weasley twins are the literal best people, trying to rescue Harry and then trying to catch him <3 They’re troublemakers to be sure but when the shit hits the fan, they’re right there to help. - The way JKR just throws in the detail about Quirrell is awesome. It seems like such a throwaway, even on reread. - Neville crying into Hagrid’s sleeve is the most precious thing MY BABY. - As does Harry nearly swallowing his first Snitch. I actually forgot about this when DH first came out. - ONLY HAGRID would name thet thing Fluffy. - “Greek chappie” I see what you did there - This is a pretty good example of one reason I don’t like Hermione very much, though this particular reason does get better as she gets older. Thinking she knows everything because she’s read about it gets so irritating, especially when she’s wrong. Did she read nothing about counter curses? And seriously, why did no one notice Quirrell muttering?
