Death of A Romantic Comedy

I split water on my bed  it will dry and so will I  tomorrow when white sunlight   begins to rise  and I think of Gemma  staring at the heavens  graphite on her walls  saying I've been there before  i kept shoes I knew were dead  their holes were shaped like  canyons in thread  I kept paying all my rent  I'm evicted, I'm the start of a tangled thread  so what do we need to do?  I love you so much I can barely move  shake me loose my spiders tongue  move around the bars in dark  held a throne of sycamores on the rye  held some hips that swayed behind  and no love is ever good enough  it's what I feel when I talk  hold me magenta skies  you're pink and purple beauty shines  I saw golden shades on traffic lights  I put myself somewhere they can't touch  honesty is broken while pigeons try and sing if I call just let it ring  I am nothing else to say   all say is torn apart, there's a dead light moving  out of the dawn

her hair is still pink  it still illogically bothers me that she sleeps around  she still sleeps around  her head is still slightly too big for her body  she's still insanely cute  her teeth look straighter  her cheeks have edges  she looks richer  she's learned some things the hard way  she wears dresses but looks best in t-shirts and sweats  I bet she still calls a joint a zoot  I think she might be moderately bi-polar all be it undiagnosed  I think she's still in trouble  She wants to sleep with me again  I want to sleep with her  She's a terrible idea  She still loves her sister more than anything
