A/N: I’m FINALLY doing something about my never-ending drafts...a long over due chore. So here’s a cute little thing about the wolf pack giving their imprints a little wolf plush. Just a silly thought I had laying around in there.
Pairings: Sam Uley x Reader; Jared Cameron x Reader; Paul Lahote x Reader; Jacob Black x Reader; Embry Call x Reader; Quil Ateara x Reader; Leah Clearwater x Reader; Seth Clearwater x Reader.
Sam gives you Gamgee. Of course you named the floppy black wolf he’d won at the fair for something Lord of the Rings related. He’s seen the movies, at least the first one, but never read the books and you must have read them a thousand times, those worn-out, tapped-together paperbacks still on your shelf and at least one of them in your hand. Sam had given the plush wolf to you with a little bit of a bashful smile, his dark eyes all alight, picking the one with a missing eye because he knew that was the one you’d want.
The wonky one, the one somebody else might not pick, but you’d pick just to make sure the plush wolf didn’t feel sad about that...if stuffed animals had feelings, that is.
Gamgee was sitting on your lap as he drove you home that night, your head on his shoulder as Sam took the long way back...the scenic route, with moonlight slipping through the shivering trees and not a soul around. Just you and him and a plush wolf, some song playing softly on the radio.
“Which one is Gamgee anyway?”
“What?”
“Which Lord of the Rings character. I don’t remember that one.”
“Sam Uley, you and I are watching all the movies together, I can’t have my man acting like this. And it’s Sam. Samwise Gamgee, Frodo’s best friend.”
And at that, he was grinning like an idiot and kept smiling that whole way home.

Jared gives you Cheeto Puff. Just Cheeto, for short. And he knows right away where the fluffy, golden-and-slightly-orange wolf with brown eyes got his name from because Jared will never, ever forget the day the two of you met. He had imprinted on your three days earlier, when he’d gone to Forks to run errands with his mother, and saw you in the street with your friends.
Laughing, talking, a bag of Cheeto Puffs in hand.
One of your friends said something stupid and you tossed a puff at him, everyone laughing when he caught it in his mouth.
He’d been missing you (and how weird was it, to miss someone he’d never even known?) ever since, just dying to see you. So imagine Jared’s surprise (and delight) when you showed up on the beach at La Push, slipping away from that same group of friends and listening to something in your CD player, headphones on and eyes on the sea, the sky. This was it. This was his moment, the day happily ever after finally began...it was also the moment he should have gotten your attention before making his move, but, well, Jared was excited.
He was also holding a brand new bag of Cheeto Puffs and walking right over, telling you to catch (which you didn’t hear) and tossing it over (which hit you right in the face).
Jumping up, you pulled off your headphones, looking at the Cheetos laying in the sand, before looking up at a shocked and embarrassed Jared, confused for a moment...before you burst out laughing and he felt himself relax a little bit.
“Dude, what the hell?”
“Sorry, I...thought you’d like them?”
And you did. Sitting on the beach together, you shared the Cheetos and just talked. And it was way better than anything he’d imagined in his head, all of his fantasies paled in comparison to the reality that was you. So when you’d named that goofy looking little wolf Cheeto Puff, Jared thought it was the perfect name, grinning as he stole a kiss.
~
Paul gives you Padfoot. It’s a gray-black of wolf, clearly handmade and something he found at a garage sale. He’d actually stopped the car when he saw it sitting in a box of plush toys as he drove by, letting himself be late to a pack meeting just to get it for you. But it was worth it when Paul stopped by your place, finding you sitting on the couch and reading. He was able to sneak up behind you (for such a big guy, he’s surprisingly quiet) and slip the wolf between you and the boy.
You didn’t even start, the smell of his cologne and the sight of a hand you knew all too well was an easy comfort to you.
“Who’s this?” you asked.
“A gift. Thought you’d like him, that's all.”
“I love him...and I think I’ll call him Padfoot, after the ghost dogs.”
“Yeah?”
Paul liked ghost stories. So the two of you (three, if one counted Padfoot) snuggled up on the couch, reading a battered book of ghost stories together.
~
Jacob gives you Endless. Maybe some would have thought it was an odd name but Jacob thought that it was perfect. The silver-gray wolf was soft, with floppy limbs, and a set of indigo blue eyes that reminded him of the sea...endless, blue, beautiful. It was just the sort of thing you’d like and he was so pleased, bringing the floppy wolf home to you.
And you were pleased too, breaking into that bright, sweet smile and proclaiming his name right there and then:
“I’ll call him Endless.”
Endless became a familiar face in the Black house. You waited there when Jacob was away, rather than with the other imprints, not out of dislike for them but out of love for Billy. You’d cook something together and watch a movie while Jacob was away and you’d help wherever you could. Most of the time, by the hour he finally rolled in, Billy was asleep in his bedroom and you were in Jacob’s bedroom. Sometimes you were reading, or listening to music, sometimes you were asleep.
But no matter what, Endless was there with you, indigo eyes shining as Jacob finally came home to you.
He’d take the wolf out of your lap, declaring that it was “his turn” with you, and place him at the foot of the bed, Jacob’s head in your lap and you played with his dark hair.
~
Embry gives you Strider. And he knew at once who you had named him for: his favorite Lord of the Rings character, Aragorn, using his second name. Embry had always been a fantasy nerd and you were too. When he’d first imprinted on you, you had been strangers to one another and there was only one common interest to bond over:
Lord of the Rings.
You watched the movies together, talked about the books, you even read Tolkein’s other works together. It wasn’t much but it was enough.
And it was not long until fantasy turned to friendship and friendship turned to love. And maybe it was silly, but this was his first relationship and having a girlfriend for an entire six months felt like A Big Deal and Embry wanted to celebrate that. So he got you a fluffy, dark brown wolf with one ear too low on his head and you named the sweet creature Strider.
“You should have told me we were celebrating, Em, I would have gotten you something.”
“Well...you could kiss me a little. Or a lot. That’d be cool.”
And you did kiss him a lot, of course, but it still wasn’t enough. So three days later, you came to his house with a silver-white wolf with dark blue eyes and a silvery ribbon around her plush throat, declaring that Strider needed a wife.
He named her Arwen.
~
Quil give you Mac. It took him exactly an hour and seventeen minutes and more quarters than he’d like to admit to win the pretty brown wolf from the claw machine. And you hadn’t even asked him to do it, either. The two of you had been running errands for him mother and had gone shopping at Forks for her. In passing, you’d pointed out that a stuffed wolf looked just like Quil and, truthfully, it really did.
“He’s cute, just like you.”
“But not as cute as me, right?”
“No, silly,” you’d said, kissing his jaw and smiling sweetly. “Nobody’s as cute as you.”
And he’d decided right there that he was gonna get you that wolf. And, yeah, it took him a long while to finally do it. But he did it, running all the way to school before you got out (because he’d ditched) and waiting for you on the steps, just to give him to you.
“Oh...you are so sweet, aren’t you?” you asked softly, pulling Quil into your arms and kissing his jaw again. “I’m gonna name him Mac.”
“Mac?”
“Like mac’n cheese, for that big, cheesy smile on your face.”
~
Seth gives you Sunny. And it’s really the perfect name for the soft, golden wolf with a braided strap of leather around it, a golden sun hanging from it. It was so cute and it was perfect for you, Seth knew it right then. He’d bought it and, knowing you were coming over, placed it beside him on the couch waiting for you.
“Sunny,” you’d decided. “I’m going to name her Sunny.”
With your bed just beneath your window (you liked to look at the tree outside and listen to the birds), Sunny often sat on the windowsill, as though she were waiting for Seth to sneak in.
And he often did, falling onto purple sheets with laughter smothered between kisses, poor Sunny knocked onto the pillows below and laying just between the two of you. This was probably one of Seth’s favorite moments...sneaking in just to see you, kissing you, and just...being dumb and in love, stealing kisses and talking about everything, listening to music.
Most of the time, he’d snuck out long before morning.
But the pack had been running him ragged and you could not bear to wake him, letting Seth sleep until the sun had risen as birds began to sing. It was only then that you woke him, kissing his neck and whispering his name until he arose. Seth stumbled out of the window and into the tree, flashing that sunny smile as he went. And you watched him until he was gone, resting on the windowsill with Sunny beneath your head, her glassy eyes watching him too.
~
Leah gives you Luna. It was actually Seth that had given her the white wolf with gray eyes, a little moon hanging from a braid of white leather around her throat. It was part of a set, he’d explained, and he was giving his wolf to his imprint. He thought that Leah might do the same with hers.
And she did.
As silly as it seemed, it was sweet, too. Leah knew that Seth would be happy to hear that she’d done it. And she knew that you would like the plush wolf, even if the thought of doing it made her feel a little...bashful, would be a good word for it. But she wanted to do it. She wanted to give you something sweet and to know what you would name the wolf. So when she’d call to see you and you insisted that she come over and stay for dinner, it seemed like a good time.
The house was warm and smelled amazing.
You were bustling around the kitchen in a blue apron and she, wishing to be helpful, was setting the table. So you didn’t notice the wolf until you sat down, seeing her sitting there beside your place.
“What’s this?”
“Just...something for you. From me and Seth.”
You smiled, picking up the white wolf and playing with her little moon charm. It occurred to Leah that you had pretty fingers and she wondered how such a thing could even seem pretty to her…
“Luna. I’ll call her Luna.”
And the wolf was in your arms when you kissed her goodbye, sending her home with a Tupperware of desert for the Clearwaters and your thanks to Seth, kissing her again and then a third time. She could have kissed you forever...but three times was almost enough.
Idk if you’ve stopped your birthday requesting (happy birthday!!!!!), but I have a headcannon I’d like for the pack. How would they be with an imprint who cooks professionally and as a hobby? Like celebrity chef type talent. My own assumption is that this would be fluff, but you can do whatever. Thank you!
Thank you!! I will always find a reason to celebrate with twilight! I’m not a chef but I bake as a hobby. Doesn’t mean I know the language but I’ll try 💗this will be a little short for head cannons
Imprint who cooks- pack headcannons
Sam-
Happiness was understated when he learned this info about you. He was already a wolf and he saw a feast metaphorically laid out every meal. He grew up having to carry a lot of the burden at home while his mom worked full time to get the bills paid. Frozen pizzas of cereal were normally go tos. Instead he has an imprint who not only provides, but he feels like he can experience the whole world from your shared kitchen.
Embry:
He is simply the proudest boyfriend/fiancé/husband ever. Like the golden retriever entry is hidden behind his shyness. He loves the food you make, but supporting you in your spotlight is his favorite.
Jared:
He loves to brag like seriously. His IMPRINT is the bomb. Making great food is one thing, behind a celebrity is another. He just thinks you’re so hot. He also tells everyone he is dating you, but it’s because he is proud of you and not just for the clout.
Quil:
Quil seems shy but he is the BIGGEST flirt! He has eyes for only you after the imprint. He comes to events and escorted you to all the fancy things. When the wolf duties bring him back to La Push he enjoys all the food you make and freeze for him for these times.
Paul:
Paul can be..jealous! He gets angry seeing anyone, especially male, around his girl. Sure following your passion is important to you so it is to him. He just wishes that you didn’t have to network so much because he wants you all to himself. He constantly compliments and encourages you though. He is your biggest fan and the reason you do what you do.
Seth:
Golden retriever energy and totally loves your cooking. He appreciates all the meals he has ready to reheat due to your vast experience cooking. He does have a lot of wolf duties so leaving you to go do your career is hard. He prays for your safety every day and counts down the moments to hold you again. Either way, he is right there cheering you on every time!
Jacob:
Jacob honestly had to take care of Billy a lot so he is used to making his own meals. Having the wolf duties, he relied on quick and easy food. Often bad for him. When he met you it’s like you took over caring for everything. He is so thankful for that and the love you bring. You can’t even imagine how big he smiles when you succeed or are acknowledged. He hangs copies of all your awards, articles, magazine covers, etc. in his garage to show off. He loves you and you love him.
Embry you gave it to him when you were in his car which is where he keeps it,
He smiles at it whenever he climbs in or glances at it, the same fond smile he gave when you gifted it to him, he doesn't say much other than a "thank you" with a small smile, and holds your hand the whole car ride which is pretty normal,
(Has held up traffic before looking at it and day dreaming about you)
He wants you to name it, and really likes the name you choose,
Not related but (doesn't move much in his sleep so his bed looks almost like how his mom made it yesterday)
snippet of autistic!reader & autistic!quil waiting for embry to come home <3
quil calls reader pup ; no pronouns used / gender neutral
The room is quiet as you suck on the peppermint candy. Embry had left a few hours ago, Sam calling him over to patrol your small town. Your favorite playlist was playing as you waited for Quil to appear — his mom always sent over candy when she knew he’d be visiting you.
A joyful, excited smile greets you as Quil opens the front door. In his hands are packets of candies for you, all lovingly and cautiously picked out. He lays them on the coffee table you’re sitting in front of before pressing a kiss to your cheekbone. “Keepin’ busy?”
You shrug as you look at the picture you’d gotten halfway through coloring before he’d shown up. “Somethin’ like that. Embry home soon?”
Quil nods and makes himself comfortable on the sofa behind you. His legs are on either side of your body, blocking you in as he grabs the book he’d been getting through. Your playlist comes to an end and the silence causes Quil to scrunch his nose.
“Pup,” he nudges your shoulder with his knee. You pause your coloring to turn your ear his way, still keeping your gaze on the table. “Mind if I change it?”
You shake your head before letting out a smack! as you finish off your peppermint candy. Quil fondly watches you take a sip of water, the reminder to Embry had set for you both showcasing on your phone.
The curly haired boy gets lost in his novels quickly. It’s something you’d first learned about Quil — that reading helped him escape and settle his mind simultaneously. His right hand is twirling the strings of the hoodie he’s wearing as his left hand holds his book steady. You place a kiss on his knee before you finish coloring your picture.
Embry comes home to a scene that feels so domestic — so warm and tender that he wants to cry. You and Quil did this often — parallel play, it was called. An acoustic, indie sounding playlist was playing around the house softly as you both did your own things.
It made Embry’s heart flip and flutter as he shut the front door quietly. He plops onto the sofa with a sigh, leaning his head against the back of it. Almost immediately, Quil’s head falls to his shoulder as your head hits his knee gently.
Home, Embry smiles to himself as his eyes slide shut. I’m finally home.

idk how many notes this ill get / how popular it’ll b but i needed some comfort n this happened <3
So I’ve had a lot lot lot going on in the past few months. New experiences, love, loss, heartbreak… Which I guess is why I haven’t written in a while. But I finally finished this! Inspired by my own desperate want for a guy who isn’t pressurey about sex.
Quil x reader smut
As always, realistic sex (18+).
Walking through the forest was always peaceful. You knew these trails like the back of your hand, exploring them to clear your head or spark inspiration, and you often journeyed off the path in hopes of finding something interesting. Most of the time it was just trees, maybe a squirrel here or there and some moss if you were lucky. But you imagined that one day you’d stumble upon something amazing. Or at least you always hoped. The world was tricky. Life was tricky. So you often resorted to escapism to cope. Imagining different worlds with magic and beautiful guys who were in love with you… Yeah, you knew it was childish and impossible, but when did that ever stop any dreamer from dreaming?
Today, you wandered back to a small clearing you’d found several months ago. The light peaked through the branches, creating a chandelier effect in the botanical ballroom. Flowers bloomed near the treeline while lightning bugs whisked through the air. In all your life, this place was the closest thing you’d ever found to real magic. It was breathtaking. And in the center of it, lying amongst the tall swaying grass, was your best friend Quil. He must have sensed your presence, as he’d always had a way of doing, and sat up to give you a dorky smile.
“What’s up Buttercup?” he teased. You walked toward him, throwing your bag to the ground and plopping next to him beneath the afternoon sky.
“Rough day,” you huffed.
He pouted at this, raising his eyebrows. “Talk?”
You sighed before accepting his offer. “Daniel and I broke up.”
“What? Why? I thought you guys were so in love…”
“Yeah, well, he admitted that he slept with someone else over the summer,” you explained, attempting and failing to keep your voice from breaking. A moment of silence passed as you thought you felt Quil’s body temperature rise beside you.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” he seethed. “I’ll kick his ass!”
“Quil, I don’t want you to get involved. I just want to forget he ever existed. Can’t believe I spent so much time obsessing over that guy.”
He nodded in understanding, still raging inside over the fact that that scumbag (who he always hated, by the way,) had the audacity to cheat on the most amazing girl on the planet. His best friend. You deserved nothing short of a prince who would kiss the ground you walked on and did everything he could, every day, to make you the happiest woman alive.
“And I guess it is kinda my fault,” you added, wallowing in self-pity. “I never had sex with him. Never felt like it was the right time. So I guess he had to get it somewhere else.”
“Y/N, don’t ever blame yourself. He’s a jackass idiot if he thinks he can find anyone better than you. And you have every right to wanna wait until you’re ready.”
“I know. And it’s not that I didn’t want to, I guess I just had this feeling that once I did, he would leave. But I guess he left anyways so it didn’t even matter,” you mumbled, avoiding his eyes.
“Well if he was gonna leave over something like that then he didn’t deserve you in the first place. You were an amazing girlfriend, you brought him coffee to school, listened to his bullshit problems, stood up for him when he was being an ass to people… You deserve so much more.”
“Thanks, Quil,” you choked out in an effort to end the conversation. Quil heard the break in your voice, though you tried to hide it, and whipped his head just in time to notice the first tear leave your eyes.
“Hey, hey, no, no, no... “ he pleaded as he moved an arm around your shoulders. “Don’t cry for that dick stick. He doesn’t deserve a second thought in that pretty little head.”
You huffed a laugh through the tears at this. “Pretty? Oh, yeah, I’m sure I’m so much prettier than whatever girl he was balls-deep in in July.”
“Y/N, stop it. Literally and honestly, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on. In person, in pictures, in movies… You’re hard to beat. Trust me. And I’m not gonna sit here and let you feel sorry for yourself,” he spoke as he jumped up and offered you a hand. “Come on. We’re going cliff jumping.”
…
“Quil, I really don’t know if this is a good idea. I’ve never gone from this high up before,” you admitted, eyes unable to look away from the steep drop before you that ended in freezing water and crashing waves.
“It’s okay Y/N, I promise. Me and Embry used to jump from here all the time, and in way worse weather conditions. We can go further down if you want, I just figured the adrenaline rush might help you feel better.”
You sighed, looking up and out at the horizon. Daniel always pressured you to take things further. Always treated you like you were weak and worthless and not worthy of his time when you turned down his advances. He made you feel scared, and insecure, and powerless when you said No. Like the slightest offense would break you down and he’d only be standing rolling his eyes. Like you were the burden he kept around for whatever reason.
But here you were, with your best friend who couldn’t be more supportive, 50 feet above the water, ready to jump. You weren’t weak. You weren’t afraid. You weren’t powerless. This decision to jump would be yours and yours alone, and it would be proof to yourself that you were stronger than how he made you feel.
“I’m ready.”
Quil smiled broadly at this, excitement practically bubbling out of him at your new found confidence.
“Do you wanna do it by yourself, or together?” he questioned, completely okay with either option. You thought for a second. Just because you were an independent woman now didn’t mean you couldn’t accept help and support.
“Together,” you smiled.
The huge smile seemed to get even larger on Quil’s face as he approached the edge of the cliff and held his hand out for you to grab. You didn’t look out at the horizon this time, but at Quil’s face as he counted down from three.
“Three”
The beautiful face of the boy who had been there for you through every heartache, every loss, and every hopeless moment.
“Two”
The deep brown eyes of the boy who had made you laugh so hard you couldn’t breathe, on countless occasions.
“One”
Quil. Your Quil.
And you jumped.
The water was numbingly cold. Salt stung in your eyes as bubbles swam up around you, pointing you to the surface. When you breached, you inhaled the most invigorating breath of your entire life. Now that was what living was supposed to feel like. You laughed to yourself, enjoying the new perspective you had on heights, and looked around for Quil. He was several feet away attempting to flick the hair off his forehead while treading water.
“That was amaazziingggg!” you shouted, whooping and laughing.
“Hell yeah, Y/N, you’re a badass!” Quil screamed along with you.
You looked around for the shore, still too high off adrenaline to fully comprehend what had just happened. Quil really was such a gem. You were lucky to have him by your side.
As you both swam up to shore and plopped on the sand, Quil turned toward you to say something, but cut himself off.
“Ya kno- oh, umm…” he averted his eyes quickly.
Confused, you responded, “What’s wrong?”
“Uh, I don’t suppose you have an extra dry shirt lying around?”
At this, you looked down, and finally noticed what the issue was. You were wearing a white shirt. A wet white shirt. With a lacy white bralette underneath that was oh-so-visible. You immediately crossed your arms over your chest in an effort to conceal what Quil had already seen.
“I don’t have anything else,” you said apologetically.
“That’s okay. We can just cut through the woods to my house and I’ll get you a hoodie or something,” he replied, still looking anywhere but at you.
“Okay,” you replied, standing up and beginning the trek to the Atteara household. Quil was several feet behind you, and neither of you spoke much during the journey.
A long 10 minutes later, you arrived at the front porch of his house, taking a step aside so Quil could unlock the door. He held it open for you as you walked in and made a B-line for his bedroom.
“Here,” he spoke as he held out a plain grey hoodie for you. You grabbed it and muttered a thanks as you went into the bathroom to change. All of your clothes were soaked. Shirt, pants, socks. And you didn’t necessarily want to put on a dry hoodie and hang around in your cold wet jeans. His hoodie was big enough to cover your butt anyways, so you just went sans-bottoms as you stepped out of the bathroom and back into the bedroom where Quil had also changed into something dry. He turned to look at you when he heard the door close, but didn’t say anything as his eyes raked your bare legs.
“Quil…. Did you just check me out?” you laughed mockingly.
He flushed red, smiling awkwardly. “I mean, can you blame me? You know I think you’re gorgeous, Y/N. And if you want, I can put some booty shorts on so you can check me out too.”
“Oooh okay hot stuff. Let’s see what you got.”
Quil took this as a challenge rather than a joke and pulled his sweatpants off to reveal a pair of pink boxer-briefs and some very toned tan legs. He goofily faked some model poses and a runway walk across his room as you yelled, “Yesss, work it girl!”
You both erupted into laughter as you fell back on his bed. The hoodie must’ve ridden up, because Quil once again turned silent and looked away from you. You could have pulled it down, but you didn’t want to, faking ignorance to it.
“So are you gonna come sit down or what?” you prodded. He cleared his throat and came to sit next to you on the bed. You looked at him and remembered all that had gone through your head that day. Getting out of a toxic relationship finally allowed you to see what was right in front of you. Quil was sweet, and supportive, and fun, and hot. What’s not to like?
“Hey Quil?” you questioned softly, almost a whisper.
“Yeah?” he answered in an equally soft tone.
A beat passed. And another.
“Have you, ya know, done it?” you waited in suspense, afraid he would find your question inappropriate or embarrassing.
After a beat, he replied, “Yeah.”
“How… how was it?”
“Well, it was with this girl a grade above us. Neither of us really liked each other, we were just doing it to do it. So yeah, not that great. But I hear it’s better when there’s like, an emotional connection and all that.”
“Hmm,” you voiced.
“Why do you ask?” A sigh.
“Because I’m considering doing it just to do it.” A pause.
Quil fully turned to you now. “What? Why? Y/N, you should do it with someone who cares about you and respects you and won’t hurt you. Don’t just throw it away like that.”
“I want to do it with someone who cares about me and respects me… that’s why, I was kind of hoping you would do it…”
The air in the room turned to stone. Neither of you moved, scared to even breathe as you stared into each other’s eyes. Him, to see if you were serious. You, to see if he would agree.
After what felt like hours, he sputtered out a, “Me?”
“Yeah, if you wanna. Or like, if you don’t mind.”
“Why me?” he looked at you with what you thought was awe.
“Because you’re the sweetest boy I know and you make me laugh and… well, I trust you.” Plain and simple. And there was no denying the excitement he felt at the thought of you guys together. Romantically… Sexually…
“I mean, have you really thought this through? I don’t want you to do it only because you’re mad about the Daniel thing and then regret it tomorrow.”
“Honestly, I don’t think I could possibly regret it with you. I know you’ll like, be nice to me during it, so what else could I even ask for?” you spoke confidently.
“Of course I’ll be nice to you,” he huffed a laugh. “I just wanna make sure you’re sure.”
“I’m sure,” you spoke, looking directly into those eyes that you’d grown to love so much.
“Okay, then,” he breathed. Still, neither of you moved. Just looked at each other, waiting for the other to initiate. You were completely inexperienced, so the only thing you thought to do was reach for Quil’s hand and hold it in yours. He laughed lightly at how adorable you were in that moment before leaning down slightly and almost hovering over you, propped up on one elbow.
“Should I… er- do you want me to kiss you?” he asked nervously.
“Yeah, I’d like that,” you answered softly, eyes roaming his face and landing on his lips.
He closed the distance between you, placing the lightest feather of a kiss on your lips, before pulling back and scanning your face for hesitation.
“You know, you can say stop whenever, and we can just play Mario Kart or something. No hard feelings,” he pressed.
“Same goes for you,” you answered with a smile. Quil nodded and leaned down once more, reconnecting your lips, this time in a more passionate manner. He was still gentle and soft, and yet you could feel butterflies erupt in your stomach at the contact. Something you’d never felt with any other guy.
You arched your back in an attempt to deepen the kiss, and Quil’s other hand that wasn’t propped beside your head went around your waist. You began breathing heavily at this, and Quil lightly sucked your bottom lip into his mouth, running his tongue over it before releasing and recapturing your mouth in a heated makeout. Your hands travelled up his broad shoulders and to his face, cupping it in gentle contrast with his hand, which was now grabbing your hip roughly, in a way that made your head spin. After several more minutes of letting the tension build, Quil pulled back slightly from your lips, trailing kisses onto your cheek, then down your jaw, and landing on your neck. He suckled lightly at the skin, biting occasionally and soothing with his tongue. This made you release a quiet sound, somewhere between a whimper and a sigh, that had Quil writhing. Hearing you make any sort of audible response to what he was doing to you made that boy feral.
He began sucking harder at the skin, hands groping your hips and ass, pulling you impossibly closer to him. You felt a slight twinge of pain, before Quil soothed the area once more with his tongue and pulled away, looking at his work.
“Aww, baby’s first hickey,” he giggled, as his previously rough hand came up to gently trace your face.
“Shut up,” you laughed back, if anything grateful that you two could keep being your dorky selves despite the matter at hand.
“Do you still wanna keep going?” he asked casually.
“Now more than ever,” you said as you huffed another laugh. He smiled back down at you, and trailed his hand down your torso and under your hoodie- well, his hoodie- tracing up your stomach before he moved to cup your breast. He watched your reaction as he softly kneaded the flesh, and then brought your nipple into a gentle roll between his fingers, noticing your scrunched brows and heavy exhale.
“Good?” he questioned softly.
You nodded. “Good.”
He then pulled the hoodie material up your body to expose your breasts, and leaned down to take a nipple into his mouth. He flicked it with his tongue before sucking gently, adding more and more pressure. You released an audible sigh at this, arching your back even further into his mouth. One hand went into his hair as another went around his back to stable yourself. You could feel the muscles all along his torso and shoulder tensing, hard and firm and strong. And with every suck of your nipple, a tingle went into your spine, making you even more excited for what was to come.
“Quil?”
He stopped immediately, afraid you were uncomfortable, and scanned your face for any signs that you wanted to stop.
“What’s wrong?” he panicked.
“Nothing is wrong, silly. I was just gonna ask if I could do something to you…”
He stared at you, once again in awe, before asking, “Of course. What would you like to do?”
“I’m not totally sure,” you giggled awkwardly. “Virgin, remember?”
“I know, dork. But you’ve watched porn and stuff, right? Like, you know how it works?” At this, you blushed deeply and looked away.
“Of course I’ve watched porn, I just meant that seeing and doing are two different things, and I’m not really sure what to do first or like how to do anything…”
“That’s okay, sweetheart,” your heart melted at the nickname. “Whatever you’re comfortable with trying, we can try. And I’m here to walk you through it, don’t worry.”
You leaned up and placed a passionate kiss on Quil’s lips. He was so genuinely sweet and caring, and you knew you made the right choice with him.
“Maybe I can like… “ you were at a loss for words. Sure seeing something and doing it were very different. But doing something and saying it out loud were light years away. He looked at you patiently, waiting for you to continue.
“Maybe you can like… what?” he coaxed. You nodded your head no in embarrassment, but instead brought your hand up to symbolize--
“A handjob? You couldn’t say the word handjob out loud?” he teased.
“Not when I’m about to give you one!” you cried out at his teasing tone, covering your face with your hands.
“Heyyy, no, no. Now is not the time to be embarrassed. We’re about to get a lot more personal so don’t get shy on me now,” Quil laughed, in an attempt to make you more comfortable.
You groaned, prying your hands off of your face, before sitting up, forcing Quil to sit up too.
“So?” you asked.
“What?”
“Clothes off,” you ordered, motioning for him to undress.
“Damn, she’s bossy in the bedroom,” he quipped.
“Only when you’re being too slow,” you sassed back.
“Oh, are you getting impatient, little girl?”
You’d never admit what that sentence did to you, but Quil could tell by the look on your face. And instead of laughing and teasing you, he stood up and ripped his shirt off, kneeled between your legs and pushed you back so he was fully hovering over top of you, and kissed you impossibly rougher than before. And it had you writhing. You pushed your hips up into his, only two layers of thin fabric separating skin from skin. You didn’t have much control being on the bottom, but Quil got the message and ground his hips down into yours, eliciting your first real moan of the night.
He kept up the motion, grinding in circles, and felt your eagerness rise. He then pulled his hips away from yours to leave just enough room for his hand to slip down and rub circles over your clothed core. You looked at him expectantly, waiting for the pleasure, and became confused when it didn’t come. Quil noticed your disappointment and readjusted his hand so that his thumb was rubbing now. Still, nothing. You began to worry that something may be wrong with you. It felt so good up until that point. But Quil didn’t seem phased.
“No?” he playfully asked you. You shook your head, anxiety rising at the thought that he may be mad at you. He noticed your concern, and calmly said, “Hey, not everyone likes everything. It’s okay, it happens. I’ve got plenty of other things I can try. Okay?”
You calmed at his statement. He seemed to know what he was talking about, so you trusted him that you’d be feeling good again.
“Okay,” you answered.
“Do you wanna take these off?” he offered, motioning to your underwear. You nodded and sat up, pulling the material down your legs, and then in a sudden burst of bravery, removed the hoodie from your body, leaving you fully naked before Quil. His eyes widened, raking over your body slowly, again and again and again. You began to feel awkward, folding your arms to cover your chest, when he reached out and gently moved your arms back away.
“Y/N, you’re… I mean, wow.” His stuttering made you giggle. Did your naked body really affect him that much?
“Your turn,” you state, motioning at his underwear. Now he looked embarrassed, but still stood up and pulled off the last remaining fabric from his body. He watched as you took in his form. Lean muscles covered his shoulders and arms, leading down to slightly defined russet abs, and then down to… woah. It was everything and nothing like you expected at the same time. Obviously you’d seen a penis before online, but this was Quil’s. And you wanted to explore.
He slowly moved to kneel before you once more, and as he approached, you extended a hand to lightly touch him. He tensed as your hand grasped him, and only watched as you experimentally moved it up and down. You looked up at him as if to ask if you were doing it right, and his response was to put his own hand over yours, adding much more pressure and moving at a steadier rhythm. His eyebrows furrowed as his breathing became heavier. You noticed his eyes focussed on your chest, and felt a swell of pride at the fact that he was looking at you to get off.
“Is it okay?” you questioned.
“It’s amazing, babe,” he breathed, and you once again blushed at the nickname. You inched towards him finally, and held him up as you leaned down and placed a light kiss on the head. Again, you looked up at him for approval. He nodded, a silent plea to continue, when you said, “I’m not sure what to do.”
“If you’re comfortable, you can lick it a little, or try sucking on the tip. Or you can just use your hand if you want, it feels amazing, trust me.” His words gave you confidence, and you poked your tongue out to lick the head of his cock, swirling around the tip.
“Fuck…” you heard him moan to himself. And at that, you took his head into your mouth and sucked lightly. There was a slight salty taste, but otherwise it was just skin. Quil moved a hand to the back of your head, but did not press to make you go any further. You sucked slightly harder and began to bob your head back and forth, just an inch or two, to get used to it. When you looked up at his face yet again, his eyes were screwed shut as he breathed heavily. You must have been doing a good job.
“Okayyyyy, that’s enough of that,” he panicked, softly pulling you away.
“What happened? Did I do something?”
“Don’t laugh, but I almost came. That was amazing,” he breathed. You giggled at his flustered state, but were made all too sorry when he pushed you onto your back and hoisted your legs up over his shoulders. Before you could say anything, he licked a firm stripe up your center, making you whimper. Your legs wanted to close around his head, but he held them open, continuing to lick up and down your core, before swirling around your clit several times and sucking it into his mouth. This felt insane. You were moaning his name shortly after, all but begging him to continue. He repeated this movement, lick, swirl, suck, lick, swirl, suck, until you were panting and moaning, sweat rolling down your forehead.
“Do you wanna go further?” he asked gently, aware of your sensitive state and not wanting to pressure you. “We can just keep doing this if you want.”
“I wanna keep going,” you smiled.
“Okay.”
Quil stood up from the bed, going over to his backpack and fishing out a small foil packet. He tore it open with his teeth (hot) and removed the small rubber, placing it on the head of his dick and rolling it down.
“Do you wanna stay on your back or try something else?”
“Umm, I’m not sure,” you hesitated.
“Why don’t we try it like this, and if you get uncomfortable, we can switch it up,” he responded. You were grateful for his confident decision making at this moment.
“That sounds good,” you agreed.
He kneeled over you yet again, and positioned himself at your entrance.
“I need you to tell me if it hurts, okay? It’s not supposed to, so if it does, I need to warm you up some more.”
You nodded in agreement, and tried your best to relax as Quil slowly pushed his head into your entrance. It felt slightly uncomfortable, but didn’t hurt. He slid a little further in, when you pushed a hand onto his stomach to stop his movements.
“Am I hurting you?” he worried.
“No, just… can you stay here for a second?”
“Of course,” he responded, and leaned down to place the sweetest kiss on your forehead while you waited to feel more comfortable. After a few moments, you started to feel looser, and nodded at him to continue. He pushed in another inch, and then another, and another, until he was fully seated inside you. He gave you another few moments to adjust to his entire length as you focused on relaxing your muscles. You began to want movement, so you circled your hips lightly on his dick. Quil understood and pulled out slightly, before slowly pumping back in. You felt a strange pressure in your abdomen. He did this several more times, and you began to recognize the pressure as pleasure. He then began to pull out slightly further, and push back in at a faster pace, which made your breathing pick up. He really was hitting that spot, and you were soon arching your back once more to feel him even deeper. You let out several moans at the feeling, and Quil grunted an “Oh fuck, Y/N.”
“Oh my God,” you whimpered. The sensation was unlike anything you’d felt before. He picked up the pace again, fucking you harder and deeper.
After several moments of this, the pleasure seemed to transform into a slight stinging sensation. You stopped moaning, and tensed slightly, determined to let Quil finish, but he noticed.
He stopped moving. “Hey, you okay?” You were about to say yes, you were fine, but the vulnerable moment you two had shared prompted you to be honest.
“It’s kind of starting to hurt,” you answered, humiliated that you couldn’t last the whole time.
“I’m so sorry, babe,” he cooed, pulling out of you slowly and removing the condom.
“I was gonna let you finish, though,” you whined as he did this.
He looked you in the face and sincerely responded, “I would never want to keep going if it meant you being in pain.”
You took his face between your hands, touched at his kind words, and gave him a loving kiss, which he returned eagerly. You pulled away and looked into those deep, dark eyes that you loved, asking, “So what now?”
“We clean you up, and then it’s cuddle time, Gorgeous.”
A/N: Alright y’all, I promise I’ll try to make Jake a little happier in this one. And of course, this one is in Jacob’s POV like the previous two pieces. And I know this is shorter than the other two, but bare with me pls, I’m trying!
Eight months later...
The blazing fire in my mind had faded to a steady kindling, and smiling became a little less forced as time passed.
I still found myself thinking about her words now and then, the ache in my chest never seemed to dull at the thoughts.
Jacob… I don’t think I can do this.
This isn’t my reality.
Every word had cut through me until there was nothing left. Until I believed I was nothing. My dad had become increasingly worried, even going as far as getting Sue to check up and talk to me periodically.
But time has proven to me that it can make things better; and if not better, then at least a little more bearable.
We texted a few times a week now, and Y/N even suggested calling every once in a while. For the first few months after our last interaction, I didn’t hear from Y/N. I lived off the crumbs of interactions she had in passing with any of the guys, and even Emily on occasion. They all described her hesitance at first to reach out, but that after a while she began to engage willingly.
It wasn’t until Emily told me that Y/N had asked about me did she reach out a few days later. Initially I was ecstatic, I felt like maybe she was finally ready to let me in, but I knew that I would go at the pace she needed.
At first is was just simple chit-chat, nothing beyond monotonous conversations. Over time, we began to discuss the implications of our bond and what everything meant.
Again, I just wanted to let her know that I would never push her to be anything she didn’t want. This time, the ball was in her court.
Currently, I was walking along the beach at La Push; the stormy clouds creating a hazy, comfortable atmosphere. I was trying to clear my mind and figure out the right words to say. Y/N had promised that she would call in a few minutes.
I felt like every word was weighted, intentionally or not. And every moment was filled with an invisible timer just waiting to stop, ending our communication again. I just wished to hold her in my arms and tell her everything would be okay. I could offer her that much at least.
The familiar vibration of my phone brought me out of my clouded headspace, the caller ID making me hold my breath.
“Hey, Y/N. What’s up?” I tried to sound cheery, which wasn’t hard when talking to her.
“Hey Jake, I’m taking the night off work, so no big plans as of yet. But who knows? Maybe something exciting will happen”
Her optimistic outlook made me smile widely. It had always been one of my favorite qualities of her’s.
“No party to go to? Or is it a movie marathon kind of night?”
“Actually a movie marathon does sound pretty good... Maybe you would like to join me if you’re free?”
The uncertainty in her voice was not lost on me, but the shock of the suggestion was what hit me harder. The giddiness bubbling inside of me was threatening to spill over, and I tried to rein in my excitement as much as possible.
“Yeah that sounds great, what time should I come over?”
Over the phone I could hear her breathing begin to spike. Her nervousness setting in. And for a split second I was beginning to reconsider my answer. Maybe it had been some test from Fate?
“What about now? I mean uh-I mean if you’re not busy that is, If you want to?”
The slight stutter reassured me, raising my confidence ten-fold. The possibility of seeing Y/N again, and in a good way, had my heart racing.
a/n : this is actually an excerpt from one of my wip on wattpad but I changed the oc’s name to the reader inserts. I absolutely adore Quil and needed to share this with you all :)

REQUEST ARE OPEN
(y/n) showed up at the reservation with her arms filled with glass tubberware bowls full of sweets Esme had stress baked. (y/n) couldn't eat them all herself, Bella always ate before she visited and Vampire's weren't useful to eat leftovers. She needed an excuse to see Quil anyway.
"Hi, Emily." She hopped up the steps to the beautiful brunette and followed the woman inside. "I come bearing brownies. Esme's a stress baker and vampire's don't exactly eat human food." Emily laughed and took the bowls from (y/n)'s arms.
"I suppose you came for Quil?" (y/n) blushed, her cheeks tinting like they did when it was cold.
"Is he's around?"
"They're on patrol right now bu-" she was interrupted by a swarm of obnoxiously loud boys tumbling into the home. "They're home."
(y/n) turned around eagerly and pushed her way through the boys, each giving her a quick and confused greeting.
"Sup (y/n)!"
"(y/n), hows it going?"
"Hi (y/n)."
She finally reached the boy of her dreams and fell into his bare chest. Her arms wrapping around his abdomen, her cool cheeks fell against his flaming skin and she felt better. Her heart weighed heavy with her news, but she clung tight to him for comfort. Quil let out a loud, confused to laugh. "Hey (y/n), what's wrong?"
(y/n) glanced behind her and grabbed his hands,"Can we take a walk? I need to talk to you. Alone."
Quil felt his heart start to beat fast, he didnt know if it was from worry or excitement but he followed her like she was his religion. They walked for ten minutes in silence before Quil finally broke it, his anticipation too much to keep it. "What's going on, (y/n)?"
(y/n) stopped and looked at their hands, intertwined and happy.
"I have to leave for a little while.
Quil felt his heart drop and his brows furrowed in confusion, "What do you mean? Where are you going? You're gonna come back, right?"
"Yes!" She stopped his and cupped his cheeks in her hands, bring him to look into her eyes. He didnt look away and she saw the frenzy within them. "It's just to Seattle, my family needs to..." she thought,"take care of a few problems. I'll be back within just a few days, I hope."
"You hope?"
(y/n) pressed her thumbs against his lips and nodded,"I doubt anything too bad will happen, but I could not come back-"
"Alive?" He mumbled against her thumbs, wanting nothing more than to hold the girl in front of him. She nodded and brought his forehead to hers. She kissed atop her thumbs, their lips just an inch away with the boundary of her flesh. Quil grabbed her waist and brought her closer, "Don't do that." He brushed his nose against hers, his hands went under her sweatshirt and his thumbs massaged the skin stretched across her hip bones. She didn't flinch; he wasn't cold.
"Do what?"
"Distract me. I cant focus on you leaving if you tease me like that." (y/n) scoffed and brought her face away from his. She almost stepped back, but his hands kept her close. Their chest touched when he pulled her back.
"I'm not a tease," (y/n) raised her brows and moved her hands from his face to behind his head. His lips were free from her thumbs and he smiled at her, sadly.
"I dont want you to leave."
"I wont be gone long, Quil."
"But I'm gonna miss you, I-how am I going to remember you if you arent here?" Quil stuttered and stumbled over his words, becoming more in distress than he previously was. (y/n)'s entrancing aura had started to fade and the imprint pull was more than he could bear.
(y/n)'s lips touched his cheek, she stayed there for a moment before her lips lingered over his.
"You'll never forget me, Quil."
He tried to get closer to her, and close as he could get. She was fine with it, she wanted him close. Quil was shaky, (y/n) could feel his hands on her hips grip harder as if she would disappear if he let go.
"I know."
"You know the best way to never forget someone?" (y/n) asked her eyes met his closed ones as their foreheads rested against each other lovingly. He hummed in response, wanting her to continue. He wanted to keep hearing her voice so he'll never forget it, maybe if she kept talking then she wouldn't ever leave. (y/n) smiled and bit her lip slightly, nudging his nose with her own. He opened his eyes at her response. "You make memories."
Quil grinned when their lips connected. Their eyes had closed to take in the moment, people say you imagine the best when your canvas is blank. Closing your eyes gave you that black slate to envision something you always want to see.
On Quil's, he painted a view of (y/n) on the beach. Her arms wrapped tightly around her with a blanket tucked around the places no one would ever see but him. A sweet smile graced her lips, the lips he kissed. The lips of the girl he truly loved. She had her hand reached out for him, the salty breeze blew her hair behind her in waves like the ocean. Quil took her hand and suddenly he was back to reality with (y/n) in his arms, their lips together and their skin burning.
On (y/n)'s eyelids she saw a beautiful scene. Laying on creme colored sheets on an early morning, the beach's sun shining through dusty window panes. (y/n) could see Quil's brown eyes looking at her lovingly. She could feel his palms run across her body, she felt skin on skin and heard hearts beating fast. His curls tickled her face as they got closer and closer. When their lips finally touched, (y/n) was pulled back to reality where they truly were.
They pulled apart, both had fantasy visions dancing through their heads, through their eyes. The other could see the scenes when they looked at the other, felt the love and affection flowing through their veins. It seems to flow from where they touched.
Quil spoke, breaking the beautiful silence the waved between them from the kiss. "I want to make so many memories with you, (y/n)."
You met Quil Ateara for the first time when you and a bunch of your friends from school decided to hit up La Push's famously cold beaches. He was there, too, with a lanky boy with chin-length black hair. He started to hit on you the moment he saw you, going from super cheesy pick-up lines to super dirty ones that made the hair on the back of your neck stand on end.
His lanky friend, Embry, apologized as soon as Quil turned his attention from you to the hot-dogs you and your friends were planning to roast.
"I'd say he's a sucker for pretty girls, but you're really the only one I've ever seen him do this to," he said.
You didn't really mind it. Quil was harmless — at first.
You didn't know when it happened or how it happened, but suddenly, the flirting and the touching and the innuendos stopped being jokes and started taking on a whole new meaning. Somewhere along the way, you started feeling light and feathery whenever Quil wrapped his arm around you, or played with your hair, or laid his head in your lap. You started wondering what it would be like to have that dirty mouth of his whisper things in your ear that he actually meant.
It had started out as a game for the both of you, but you had broken every rule and fallen in love.
Which is why it was unbearably painful when, one day, everything stopped. No more calls late at night after your parents had fallen asleep; no more coming over to your place and spending hours laying on bed, doing absolutely nothing; no more picking you up from your school in Forks and taking you down to the res to hang out.
Instead, Quil started hanging out with Sam Uley's gang. Embry was there, too, having joined a while before Quil. It hurt you to no end. The boy had found better things to fill his time.
You stared at the ceiling above your bed, sprawled across your pillows in one of Quil's hoodies. He still had a bunch of clothes at your place — a very boyfriend thing of him — that he hadn't taken back. They still smelled of him, though very faintly, but it was enough to intoxicate you. If you closed your eyes, you could almost imagine him beside you.
Why you subjected yourself to that kind of torture was beside you. You should have thrown out his clothes instead of keeping them. That was the only way to move on.
Move on. You really didn't want to, but what else could you do? If Quil didn't want you, then there was nothing you could do about it.
Taking walks on the beach where the two of you had first met was the only comfort possible to you. That was the place where everything began — where he'd stolen your heart, though you hadn't realized it until much later. Quil Ateara, the dorkiest and weirdest person you've ever known. The boy you loved more than life itself. The boy who had forgotten you completely.
Which is why it came as a wrenching shock when, one day, you found Quil walking down the beach, too. He was bulkier than you remembered him, and there were dark circles under his eyes like he had missed entire nights of sleep. Though it was as cold as ever outside, he was wearing frayed shorts and a simple t-shirt that seemed to only accentuate the muscles he'd developed. His arms were even more toned than you remembered them — and you suddenly found yourself wishing they were wrapped around you again like before.
Quil stopped short. His eyes flickered onto every inch of your body, from your head down to your toes and then back to your eyes — and then his lips parted like he was about to say something but couldn't find the words. It struck him that you were still wearing his hoodie and that didn't give off a good impression. You looked like you needed him, and even though that was the truth, you wished he didn't have to know that. He'd done enough to hurt you already. It was humiliating.
You wanted to leave but you couldn't tear your eyes away from him either. There was something moving in the pit of your stomach, coiling in on itself like a snake. Chagrin, probably. Or fear of what he might say.
Then, Quil's mouth twisted into his impish grin, the one you'd fallen in love with over and over again. You shivered, though not from the cold.
"I knew it," he said. "I knew it'd be you."
What was he talking about? What did he mean? You frowned in confusion.
"You're it, (Y/N)," Quil continued, his voice bright and happy. "My imprint."
