As a side note, I've decided that this version of Sister Swan can control minds.
Just as Bella inherited as improved Charlie's shield, Sister Swan inherited and improved Renee's persuasion. She doesn't even have to do much of anything, people are inherently drawn to her and want to give her her way, often just by thinking about it. This is a part of why she and Bella are so close, because she can't use her powers on her, though she was unaware of them for most of thier lives, and thus thier relationship is genuine and very close.
