Weeping Mushroom

What do you do when a mushroom you almost stepped on starts to cry? Take it home of course!! I wanted to draw my WRW ocs interacting with Whimsey and Angel (WRW belong to @urbanqhoul ) but had no idea how to include both Quill and Haste. Quill is a lil anxious thing and instantly convinced themselves that they’re being inconvenient and bothering Angel and Whimsey GEIHSIWK

Haste: *Looooooooom*

Angel: Maybe you shouldn’t bring home crying mushrooms

Haste: Can I have my friend back?

Whimsey: Your…friend?

Haste: The crying mushroom

Whimsey: Oh!

The idea of Quill later on being like “oh, Haste was so worried about me :(“ and either Whimsey or Angel replying “That was worried?! They looked super mad” “oh no! Haste is a sweetheart…I just do nothing but worry them” and then Quill cries again GWIDHIEN Weepy little Inky cap mushroom I love them VWDHEIN

A litttle nervous to post this but uh Whimsy’s Rem World OCs upon ye!! Their names are Quill and Haste and they’re best friends.

Quill, on the left, is extremely sensitive, they cry over pretty much anything and everything. Cute video of puppies and kittens? Crying. They think someone is upset with them because they simply existed around them? Crying. Haste is the only dreamtripper that doesn’t make them cry as much as most others. Haste is blunt and someone Quill finds very easy to read, despite others finding Haste creepy and hard to read.

Haste is mischievous and isn’t afraid to lean into their creepy reputation to generally make things in their favor or to help out their dear friends. They found themselves being the companion to a mushroom person who seemed to be the only one who actually can tell what they think.

The two became close and even though Quill can’t help but cry sometimes, they find themselves crying much less when Haste is around.
