I received an email this morning with a link to quilt display options. This is something I absolutely must share! These are specifically for mini quilts with hanging sleeves on the backs. I have mighty need! These would make hanging display quilts sooooo much easier in my home.
Hang It Dang It - It comes in two sizes and holds up to 40lbs
6.5 inch Single Leaf - You need only a single nail or hook to hang it, and it holds a quilt of max 6 inches wide.
Windy Scroll Hanger - This holds up to 27 inches wide, and much more elaborate than the previous two.
Wire Scalloped Single Stand - This holds pieces up to 6.5 inches wide and is set up for a table.
Wire Scroll Tri-Stand - Another table display, but for three quilts up to 5x9 inches. That's...really small. Wow.
Classic Curl Quilt Holder - Quilts up to 12 inches wide, and this one use a rod, which is much easier than the others on the list.
There are several more on their website, so check it out if you're interested. Most are for especially small quilts, but you'll get an idea of what to consider for displaying quilts. I've been using Command hooks and drapery clips, but have seen people set up curtain hangers with curtain rods, and slide the said rod through a hanging sleeves. That's an option I've been looking at for our bedroom seeing as it's a significantly more permanent way of hanging them than Command hooks or something to hang with a single nail.
